Great umbrella!
This umbrella is lightweight and feels very durable. The one button push for opening and closing is very cool! It's easy to use and I would definitely recommend this product.

VERY well made with a few gotchas
At first, it was too long to fit in my backpack where the old broken one was. But I rearranged things (putting the tip in the spool of my duck tape), and it fits nicely. The self closing feature has a bonus: it flings almost all the water off of the Teflon coated umbrella fabric. As a result, it is dry enough to return to my backpack (assuming it has stopped raining)! The self closing feature looked like it would be great for getting into a car. BUT, when it "self closes", all the water on the top of the umbrella gets flung in the general direction of where the handle pointing. The first time I tried it in the rain, the handle was naturally pointing at *me*, getting not only me, but much of the car interior wet! So now I know to carefully point the handle *away* from the car door (somewhat awkward, but doable) before pressing the button. As a bonus. if you pull the umbrella inside the car very quickly after it closes with one smooth motion, it has a lot less water on it when you set it on the seat. When entering a building, you can shake off most of the water in the porch/vestibule before pressing the button (which I did with the old umbrella anyway). You have to remember to "reset" the self close spring. You can't easily do so by grabbing the mechanism underneath and pulling down, like I did on my old umbrella. You put the palm of your hand on the (nicely blunt) tip and *push* it down into the base.

My first adult umbrella.
I have always just bought the cheapo umbrellas at Walgreens that fly inverted in heavy rain and render themselves useless really after one use. As my kids are getting older, it was time to get a grown up umbrella. :P I have to say I'm impressed. I love how easy it is to open and close just by pushing a button. It is so sturdy and heavy and duty It closes down into such a compact umbrella making this easy to store in my car and I love the little clip it has to even attach to my purse or diaper bag. I also think it really says something for the company that it automatically comes with a guaranteed 1 year warranty!

The BEST compact Auto Open/Close Umbrella in its class
Received what I would rate as the best "not so little" umbrella I ever used. The build quality is excellent and feels quite sturdy when opened. Got it on Wednesday and had the pleasure of using it the very next day. Windy gusts and torrential rains and the umbrella held up much better than most of the flimsy ones I have used in the past. For its small size when closed, it was BIG enough to comfortably cover 2 adults, and it never flipped over once. The push button to open and close the canopy was much easier than I expected and this feature came in quite handy that first day, when walking in the rain with 2 heavy bags in one hand and also quite convenient when entering and exiting my car in the rain.10 sturdy ribs, quality workmanship, auto open and close along with fabric which literally makes water run right off the canopy all makes for one of the best umbrellas you will ever own. Unlike some of the others that tend to bend, flip over and break, I don't see this happening with this Marsboy umbrella....I expect to have this one for a long time. It is worth every dollar spent as it opens easily, closes easily and folds down even easier. The packaging is really nice and is good enough to to be presented as a gift with a little wrapping paper.I love this umbrella and I am thinking of getting a few to give as gifts to a few of my female friends.

My Go To
This is a great little umbrella. I keep it in my purse so it's always handy when the weather changes suddenly. It doesn't take up a lot of room, but opens to a reasonable size. I'm not able to fit all of me and my belongings under most compact umbrellas, but me and mine stay dry under this little puppy.I will admit, much to my embarrassment, that I originally gave this three stars because I had such a hard time getting it closed. I didn't realize the push button opens and closes it. Oops. Works great!

Bit flimsy for my taste.
If you happen to live in an area where the rain comes straight down and there is never even the slightest breeze, then this is the umbrella for you. As for me, I have found it to be nothing less than frustrating. If you sneeze on this thing it will flip inside out. I personally prefer an umbrella that is a little more rigid. The only positive thing I can say is that it's very compact when folded down.

Junk!
This umbrella is a piece of junk. I bought it for use on a late fall trip to England, where it's windy and rainy. I used the umbrella twice, once on the trip and once since returning home. It has now locked up and no longer extends or stays open. So I have to throw it away and buy another umbrella. The seller closed the return window 3 weeks after the purchase, so I have no recourse to return this defective product.

FAILED BEFORE FIRST USE.
I had very high hopes for this, especially after spending more than I wanted on an umbrella. When it came in I put it in my briefcase so I wouldn’t be caught in a downpour while at work. The first opportunity I had to use it, I pulled it out, undid the strap, hit the button and nothing. It will not open either with the button or manually.
