Perfect for Everyday Carry
As a techy individual who often has to store data and boot off of flash drives, this product stood out to me specifically for its rugged design, generous storage size, and fast transfer speed. Before, I had an old SanDisk Cruzer that was manufactured over ten years ago, and while it got the job done, it was time for it to retire. This new flash drive, with its rugged design, ensures durability and reliability, even in less-than-ideal conditions. I always have a flash drive attached to my keychain, because I often need access to one. The generous storage size means I can store large amounts of data without worrying about running out of space. The high transfer speeds are also game-changer, although your computer must support USB 3.0 technology in order to get that benefit. Additionally, the size of this flash drive compared to my old flash drive makes it much more portable and easier to carry. After doing some of my own benchmarks, I can conclude that the speeds are on-par with what was advertised and sometimes the flash drive even exceeded the advertised speeds. I have been able to achieve read speeds at around 200 MB/s and write speeds at even over 100 MB/s. Your filesystem will affect your write speeds due to the overhead of some filesystem formats - since I use both Linux and Windows, I formatted this drive to exFAT so I could access the flash drive from both systems, which is lighter than Windows' NTFS filesystem.Transitioning from my old SanDisk Cruzer, which had served me well over the past decade, to this modern flash drive was well worth it. Whether I'm storing important work files, booting up a live Linux operating system, or simply transferring data, this new flash drive offers a seamless and efficient experience. Everything that I have dealt with so far using this flash drive has been exactly what I expected and more.

Works well.
Works well...nice and small. The drive is used in an awkward, tight location and the open "O" part on the back makes it convenient to remove the drive using a coat hangar when I need to extract it.

As expected
Was looking for a large capacity flash drive with both USB 3.0 AND USB C connection, but settled with this option. The plus - Large capacity (just what I was looking for). The neutrals - The stated speed was less than what was advertised. It is FASTER than USB 2.0, on Most occasions. The engineered solution (cashing memory?) can only offer a limited duration of speed improvement. However, when it comes to large-capacity reading or installation, it is still very slow.- No USB C port. The days when this drive is still be reached is numbered. The WHAT - When using this device, it occasionally has a "hick-up". Most of the time it is short (about a couple of seconds) which is toleratable. There are various incidents when it lasted more than 10 seconds. It may be the drive is waiting to cool itself off, but when it interferes with auto-saves, it is a no-no.Wish I can find a large capacity drive that I can give a 5 stars.

Key Ring
Works great, perfect for a key ring.

Buy something else. Data loss and slow transfers.
Extremely slow and I've already lost data because of errors during the transfer. Transfer only several GBs to the drive, windows 11 pro shows it would take several days and then the process will seem to stop completely. Formatting does not solve the problem.

Size Matters
Faster, cheaper, smaller… the path to success in the electronics world today. Add increased capacity and durability, and you’ve got a winner! There are any number of cheaper ‘thumb drives’ on the market, of varying capacities, and most are adequate for storing data. But many are clumsily housed in unnecessarily large plastic enclosures that lack durability and will not work side-by-side in many notebook PCs with dual USB-A outlets. That’s when size matters, and in those instances Kingston’s narrow titanium-clad memory sticks are perfect for the job. When I consider purchasing any product, particularly electronics and tools, I focus on three things — Fit, Form, Function — and if the item does not measure up in any of the three areas, I keep looking. In the case of Kingston’s thumb drives, they’re well designed, fit in tight spaces, built tough, and function perfectly… every time!
