Rotastak Small Animal Housing Genus 200, Purple

I bought this cage to add extra space for my Syrian hamster. I wouldn't recommend it to be used on its own as its too small.For the price it's okay, however it's not a great quality. Part of the tubing snapped whilst building it and it was quite a faff to put the tubing together. The tubing doesn't fit older rotastak cages so it's been taped together.The bars have some quite big gaps either end which I'm worried will need to be covered up.It's okay for what I want it for, but I wouldn't buy it again.

This is really a 2.5* review, as the price was good and the cage does the job. However, as per other reviews the platform itself does not seem to fit through the bars and properly onto the base as per the picture, three of us failed to connect it. The wheel is VERY noisy, the house does not stay attached to the platform and lastly we found that our anti-social hamster stayed in the tube the whole time and we couldn't get him out, so we ended up blocking it off.

delivery was great just like the pic just what I was after for my Russian Lottie I hope she likes it the reason 4 stars and not 5 is some of the bars aren't straight but it will still be fine very easy to put together so for me I am happy

Nice design but it's smaller than it looks in the picture they provide. The tubes are small, not suitable for a hamster. Also the bars are too small for the water bottle! Lastly, one of the catches were broken. Really disappointed.Good thing about this though is how easy it is to return.Very helpful! Thank you for the return & refund support Amazon!! :)

As expected, OK for a single hamster, we just make sure she comes out every night in her outside play box with toys, then her ball- to explore and burn off energy, before going back in her home. Downside was colour not as picture, we received a blue and purple cage.

Decent sized cage but I wouldn't buy again for gerbils. The "anti gnaw rings" are plastic and they have chewed through in 3 weeks. I have contacted rotastak asking about metal antignaw rings with no response and I am concerned they are going to get out if they chew much more. Sold as a gerbil cage but a bad idea for this reason.

I've ordered two of these,each returned as faulty on arrival,cheap flimsy base

I'm really disappointed, the tubes are so loose they fall off too easily I'm worried my hamsters will escape, I've had to Sellotape all of the tubes as they were just falling off.
