I have had these for a few months before using. I wanted a keepsake of my dog while she was still alive and decided to copy her paw print for our 10 year adoptiversary. It was very easy to use and I am very satisfied, I am going to make more for Mother's Day gifts for my friends and family of their pets.Now, let me say the box says to follow the instructions carefully. However, there are no instructions included. So I flipped over to the reviews to piece it together. Basically, you take one of the included cards, lay it under the ink tray, and press whatever you're capturing into it. The ink tray does have a label clearly indicating which side should be against the card.I read a review that the card was an awkward size, but I found that a standard 4x6 frame I had should work well. However, I'm going to wait a few days for it to dry as others have suggested. Secondly, the card is just standard card stock paper, so I think you could use your own of whatever size you wanted.For some additional humor, I will say that using this on my dog took some time. I coaxed her into the bathroom with me and placed the ink pad and card on the ground. She obediently raised her paw right away to place in mine. Then she wouldn't put it down. I spent a couple minutes hunched over my 30 pound dog in my tiny bathroom laughing hysterically that she would not put her paw down. After I calmed down and confused her further, I tried to place it in a spot that would be most natural for her to place it down and let go of her paw and shimmied it to the desired spot. I applied gentle pressure while continuing to laugh and then let her go. I held my breath, raised the ink pad, and had a perfectly centered paw print. So just take your time and have fun with it, unless you have a 100 pound couch potato that will let you just press their paw into it. Or, you know, a baby. That's probably easier.

I thought these worked really well. While you can get multiple uses out of each (immediately after opening), it definitely doesn't work the same after the first print because of the ink that's already been taken off unless you are incredibly talented and can do the print in the exact same space.Also, I didn't read the exact dimension but the "large" was a lot smaller than I was expecting. I can't imagine getting a small size. I wanted to do newborn footprints along with my toddler, and my toddler's foot (size 7 toddler shoe) didn't quite fit in the space. Her hand was a bit better, but she couldn't spread her fingers out completely and fit her hand on the ink pad

I loved these! I got these because my baby boy is almost 6 months now! I wanted something to commemorate his first Easter. Thank goodness I got it then because his feet were almost too big! Definitely just for babies..like fresh babies lol. Wanted to desperately to make a keepsake with them so I ended up going to as you wish pottery and making an Easter plate with his footprints. The best part is there was NO MESS. I did it all while he napped in his stroller no hassle at all. I was able to paint over the footprint and have a beautiful keepsake. 10/10

My dog was NOT a fan of these. It took each of the pads to finally get a good paw print. Make sure it's a stable base below it when you use it.

I like how these dont have ink contact for the baby. I do wish they came in bigger sizes and my baby had long feet and fingers and got cut off a few times. It does take practice so it might be a good idea to get two not one which is my mistake

This worked out great and was super easy to use. Just followed the instructions and had no problem at all. You can get two uses out of each pad but the second one is lighter so we only used each pad once to get what we wanted. Would definitely recommend this product.

The idea of the ink pad is perfect, but they really should give you an extra or 5th ink pad so you can make a mistake or so you can do a trial before jumping into your project. I really wanted my newborn’s hands and feet on a wooden plaque, but due to not enough ink pads and a mistake, there was no way to rectify the project without purchasing all new items. So in the end I don’t have what I was hoping for. I’m really sad about it. We are on such a tight budget, it just doesn’t make sense to buy another one to start over.

These are super easy to use, they are very high quality and they are the perfect gift for anyone! We love them! I bought quite a few lol. They are very lightweight, very clean lines and comes in different colors! If you have got these, i suggest you do! They can be used with a wide variety or babies, kids, pets and more!

Very easy to use and looks so cute

Con el paquete de dos pude sacar las huellitas de las dos manitas y los dos piecitos de mi bebé sin mancharlo, aunque si se llegara a manchar se quita muy fácil, me manche el dedo sin querer y lo retire con una toallita húmeda. Deje secar los cartones que incluye para las huellitas y quedaron perfectos en el álbum de mi bebé.

Love how easy to use and mess free these were. You do need one or two to practice with first. So order more than you think you’ll need. And really you can only use one once. Even though there is still some ink left after the first use, the print won’t be as perfect on the second round.
