From the Manufacturer Mad Max is a 1979 Australian dystopian action film directed by George Miller, written by Miller and Byron Kennedy over the original script by James McCausland, starring Mel Gibson. It became a top-grossing Australian film, holding the Guinness record for most profitable film for decades and has been credited for further opening up the global market to Australian New Wave films. It was also the first Australian film to be shot with a widescreen anamorphic lens. The first film in the series, Mad Max spawned sequels Mad Max 2 (aka The Road Warrior) in 1981 and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome in 1985. A fourth installment, Mad Max: Fury Road starring actor Tom Hardy as Max, is currently in production.

Last Of The V8's
Had a good look at this and some pics from the movie. as far as I can tell this model s spot on accurate in detail all the way down to the doggy boxes. I bought a Tachometer Kit for the hood metal kit so I give it a more realistic feel in some scenes there is a Tachometer on the hood next to the blower. The one I got comes with a color guage and metal dial and metal housing got it off Hobbylinc for less than 8.00 and few other things to add to it as well as a display case when I get it done. I hate dust getting in some or many of my models hence the reason for the display case. I am going to enjoy putting this togther if I get ambitious enough I may make a figure of max and the dog with modeling clay I bought. think it might acually add some more to it. We shall see if I get that ambitious. Pick this one up for detail and so much more you can add to it.... to really make it pop.

it's also the best proportioned and good looking Falcon ever released
Not only is this the most accurate and detailed Road Warrior car, it's also the best proportioned and good looking Falcon ever released. Apart from no engine (other than the bit sticking out of the hood) there isn't much more you could want for in a plastic kit.

Really nice model. Probably my favorite movie car
Really nice model. Probably my favorite movie car. I wish is had an engine and the exhaust detail is terrible, but overall pretty good.

I love this kit it is done very well the mold ...
I love this kit it is done very well the mold is always nice and detailed and looks just like the car from the movie. However i do not like the heavy price for it i usually buy model kits for around 15 to 20 dollars the most is 35. I wish Aoshima would lower the price a bit so i can buy more but its still a nice kit to buy and you will feel like you get what you pay for

Don't sell it if you don't have it.
Well, I would have liked it but as it turned out they were all sold out.

Cruise the Post Apocalypse
The coolest version of the “Last of the V-8 Interceptors”! Complete with photoetch details, this sucker builds beautifully with all the parts to make either the Mad Max or Road Warrior versions. In my view it was well worth it. Now if only these guys would make Max’s yellow interceptor XB ...
