Really great set!
This is a really good starter set OR a set to add to your current collection! It's got enough beads and colors and pattern ideas to last your kids HOURS of fun. The thing I like best about these kits is that they are ready to go and you don't need to have anything else to make them work. EXCEPT: You do need a way to fuse the beads, so keep that in mind. Not many people have an iron in their home any more, they do sell mini crafting irons (which I have.. I think I bought it for $5 years ago and I use it for these beads) or if you're in a bind, I've also heated the bottom of a pan and used that to fuse the beads together when I couldn't find the crafting iron.Bottom line, these are fantastic and this one in particular is a great starter set or great set to add. Would highly recommend to anyone with kids that love crafting!

fun refill beads
If you need a refill on your perler beads this is a great affordable option. They have plenty of colors. The only thing I wish this had was a plastic board for assembling the beads but it's just a refill set so it makes sense that it's missing in this kit. Would recommend adding this to a gift set for someone who already has all the fuse bead making accessories!

Comparable to brand name
I hadn't used this kind of beads in a long time. I got these in yesterday. I've already made 14 pieces, and there are larger boards sitting in my cart, waiting for me to finish talking myself into buying them. The color range is great, and I'm so glad each color is packaged separately. You can just dump them in the bucket if you're one of those people who want to see the world burn, I suppose, but those of us who are less chaotic can really save some time this way!I'm not the best at ironing them. I've been getting better over the course of the day. I made some with brand name beads to compare, and they came out well, but I decided that didn't mean much if I was already improving. So I did some more with these beads, then made two small ones simultaneously on the same board. I think the brand name did slightly better, but it's close enough that I'm not sure. For the two together, I liked how the brand name piece turned out better, but they were both fairly even. It might just be that this kind needs slightly less ironing, so it was too much by the time the brand name was finished.I do have one nitpick that I haven't run into with the brand name. I made one piece with peach and white, and the white beads were slightly shorter. This caused an uneven melt. In addition, some of the peach beads were visibly lighter than the others. I haven't noticed this with any of the colors, though. Maybe I just got unlucky and got some from two different lots? I don't know if dye lots are a thing with these.Either way, I'm almost entirely happy with these beads. I'm not going to seek out these specific ones in the future, but I wouldn't avoid them, either. I'm enjoying them!Edit: Okay, there have been several beads that seem to randomly be short. I've added a photo to show a few of these. They're usually easy enough to spot before ironing, though.

Everything you need and more
This comes with SO much. So many colors, pegboards and patterns. You can make endless things with these. I like to put designs together for earrings or decoration based on what I find online. Note that these are regular sized fuse beads, not mini or anything. I definitely recommend this set no matter your skill level.

Fabulous starter set
This came with a huge amount of beads in a variety of colors. It also came with three peg boards, which are smallish, but perfect for my four year old who has never done perler beads before. Our beads came separated by color, which was nice for me, but my four old was very happy to immediately mix them all together. They fused well, and I'm happy with all the colors and the quantity of beads. Would buy again!

Perfect for a lot less!
My child loves doing the perler bead sets. I really appreciate that this has a refillable container that the beads can go into. Also, the colors for hours came separately. Which helps out tremendously for us, because we like to separate out the colors and keep them separate. Which makes crafting so much easier. I did find that these are a little harder to melt, which honestly isn't a big deal because normally with other brands of perler beads I forget how long I'm supposed to iron and they get to melted. I would definitely recommend for someone who is getting into crafting.

Great Kit with Lots of Colors
My daughter loves fuse beads. She makes her favorite video game characters (among other things) using these beads. I'm actually impressed at how well they come out. They look like pixel art to me. It's actually pretty cool. This kit comes with all of the colors you need to make some really cool pieces. Three peg boards are included. My daughter didn't use them though. She said they are too small and she'd rather use the large one she already has. There is a handful of basic patterns that's easy enough for a young child to do. Lastly, there is a couple of ironing sheets that you use along with a clothing iron to fuse the beads together. If you have young kids you'll want to do this step for them. I believe there was a plastic tweezer for picking up the beads included as well. Some of the things my daughter has done with the finished art is glue a small magnet to the back and stick the piece on the fridge or attach a string and hang it up. She plans on making ornaments for the xmas tree this year.Good kit. Recommended.
