“Lights Out” by Navessa Allen completely blew me away — from the first page and the first play button! This is hands down one of the funniest and most addictive dark stalker romances I’ve read. The banter between the MMC and FMC? Absolutely hilarious and scorchingly spicy 🌶️ — I was laughing out loud one moment and fanning myself the next. Their chemistry was undeniable, and watching their dynamic evolve was pure gold.What made it even more compelling was how both characters carried their own dark pasts — shadows they didn’t shy away from, but instead used to truly understand and connect with each other. That emotional depth added so much weight to their bond and made their growth feel earned and real.And let’s talk about the audiobook — phenomenal. I listened while reading, and it brought everything to life in the most immersive way. The narrators nailed every beat, from the sizzling tension to the emotional vulnerability.The plot was dark, thrilling, and wildly entertaining — the perfect blend of danger, desire, trauma, and twisted laughs. If you’re into edgy romance with sharp wit, depth, and serious spice, this one’s a must-read and must-listen! Definitely worth the hype in my opinion.

Lights Out by Navessa Allen is a wild, steamy ride that surprised me in the best way. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in—dark romance isn’t usually my go-to—but this book hooked me from the start. The humor was an unexpected but welcome touch, balancing out the darker themes and making me laugh out loud more than once (yes, there was definitely some giggling and foot-kicking involved). The dual POV worked perfectly, giving insight into both Aly’s desires and Josh’s motivations. And speaking of Josh—he’s officially one of my new favorite book boyfriends. He’s the perfect mix of morally gray and fiercely protective. My only gripe is that the plot felt a bit thin at times, but the chemistry between Aly and Josh more than made up for it. If you’re into dark romance with some heat, humor, and a touch of danger, this one’s worth picking up. 4/5 stars.

The storyline is refreshingly clever, weaving a plot that kept me hooked from start to finish. I found myself rooting for the characters, who were beautifully developed and layered with personality—each with their own quirks, witty comebacks and desires that made them utterly relatable.I loved how the author skillfully built tension, making the chase just as thrilling as the eventual encounters. The combination of humor and sexiness was a delightful surprise, turning what could have been a standard romp into a riotously fun ride.

Masked men on TikTok turned into a romance novel?! Count me in! 🤩This book was seriously so much fun to read! It had me laughing, clutching my lady pearls, and getting all giddy! ☺️Aly is a nurse that works nights in the hospital ER that has an obsession with watching masked men, especially one specific one, The Faceless Man! 😏 Little does she know what was in store for her with this man.Josh is a high tech hacker who’s roommate Tyler used to “date” Aly. One night Aly was feeling a bit frisky while watched her masked videos and decided to send Tyler a clip after months of not talking to see if he’d ever act something out like that with him. He instantly shut her down and explained he was with someone else. Tyler showed Josh and little to Tyler’s knowledge that Faceless man, was Josh’s alter ego. 🤯Josh decides to take measures into his own hands and pursue Aly and her “fantasy’s” as she has commented on every one of his videos. To him, an expert hacker, it became a chase he was willing to try as he remembered how attractive she was from when she came over with Tyler. 😉Aly had no idea what was coming for her but what she thought was just a fantasy turned reality real quickly and the story only went up from there. 🙃Aly and Josh are seriously the most fun couple I’ve read in a long time and as the book states, “the couple that slays together stays together”, and you’ll just have to read more to find out!Love this book so much, I couldn’t put it down! One of my favorite reads for sure. Josh is the ultimate book husband/boyfriend and I’d love to be Aly if I could 🤭Definitely recommend! 10/10! If you need a good laugh with a little suspense and a perfect amount of spice to keep you invested, that will also keep you turning pages, definitely pick this one up! 😍5⭐️4.5 🌶️

Amazing read! the story was wild, erotic and the author gave these characters some real personalities! They were accidentally funny which is a nice switch in a dark romance. I have Caught up preordered and i can't wait to read it!
