Very impressive, picture and device-build quality seems to be excellent
After having tried a couple of other similar products with no success, this one is a pleasant surprise. It just worked right out of the box, using the default settings. I only needed to make sure that the HDMI output of the computer was set to 1024, and it worked at the default switch setting. So far only working with one extended monitor, but I have no doubt that the second monitor will work just as well. The HDMI loop-through - they call it loopout - for a "local" monitor is a big plus.I am using 100-foot runs of STP (shielded twisted pair) CAT6, with shielded CAT6 jacks and 3' CAT6 shielded jumpers at each end, and everything looks great. My only minor complaint is that the DIP switch setting table in the manual isn't very well-explained, but I did figure it out, and as I didn't need to change anything anyway, I'm fine. I did try a couple of different switch settings, but everything still looked the same.

Worked well with Cat6 and short cat5e cable
This worked great to send digital signage output from a chrome box to two digital displays in a portrait orientation. Cat6 was used in wall to a central data closet. I originally had a Monoprice blackbird 4k 1x4 (only needing 2 outputs though). That was very glitchy. One screen would work 50% of the time and the other would barely work (flashing, glitchy, black screens). I replaced that with this GoFanco unit and a 1 ft shielded Cat6a cable from the wall jack to this and it worked perfectly. In the data closet a 7 ft shielded Cat6a cable ran from the patch panel into the GoFanco sending unit. Both screens have a beautiful 1080p digital signage display in a retail environment while the image is generated from a box in a climate controlled data room and connected to a PDU where we can power cycle it remotely if we would ever need to.This exceeded my expectations and I did test this at home with both an Xbox one and Nintendo switch before putting it into production, and I was able to get video from my family room in my lower level shot across my Cat5e cable I have run in my house to another jack behind my living room tv. The wireless controllers worked through the floor and I was able to view the game consoles in the other room with no difficulty. In its final retail setting we have no need for the IR eyes so they remain disconnected and put away.I would recommend this over the Monoprice unit since we had lots of trouble with the reliability from Monoprice. The Monoprice did power the receivers over the cable which was nice, so keep in mind with the GoFanco the receivers need a power outlet to operate. Keep in mind this is not 4k but for a digital sign you are viewing from a distance anyway and 1080p is tried and true.

Easy Setup
The product was very easy to set up. I had one issue that turned out to be a reversed wire in my Cat5e, not associated with the product at all. Once the wiring issue was resolved, the product worked as expected. I do not use the remote control features to comment on its function.

Works great for the price !!
I used this 1x4 on a 1080p direcTV Satellite box - image looks good run 3 dedicated cat5 cables about 150ft each from main unit no visual issues - just make sure that what ever device you are using to feed the image is running a minimum of 1080p and the dip switch is properly set for the specific needs otherwise you will experience image lost or audio issues! After I correcting this setting 3 of the units I connected to main unit work perfectly within resolution expectations! The price is good and the product is also of good quality! Have fun and take time to read the description!

Unit stopped working after almost exactly 1 year. A replacement unit was sent.
Picture quality is good and it worked fine for 1 year.(only reason for 2 stars instead of 1)A few days over a year after I started using it, the transmitter unit just stopped working. The company says they cannot help as warranty has expired. (by a few days)You cannot just purchase the transmitter and have to buy a complete new system at full price.(only a 10% discount by registering on their website which still works out to more than the amazon price.)Hopefully others will have better luck.I'll be trying out a different brandUpdate: after many emails they send a free replacement unit and system working fine again.

After 30 days 1 of the ports died. At 45 days the 2nd port is unstable
45 days later this thing is a $250 doorstop. Right at 30 days one of the cat ports stopped working, now at 45 days the 2nd is on the fritz.ORIGINAL REVIEW: We have installed this in our large conference room for presenters. These are truly plug and play, and we get 4k @60hz with 75, and 100ft cable runs. No lag, no distortion.
