Good game...
Short 'n' sweet and for those who are looking to buy this game but are put off by the negative comments, especially those that say you can't do this or that in this version. Well, they're wrong! All the posts above that say you can't view this in 2D, can't offer players to other clubs, fining players, no player unrest, no players asking to be transferred etc are talking crap!An excellent game for the price and will keep you glued for weeks and weeks!

A good game
Football manager handheld is an extremly good game.I have had a PS2 for almost 4 years and always wanted a good football manager game. LMA manager came out and it was a good game but it took to long to play. I saw this game before i had a psp and decided if i was to get a psp i must get it.Finally i got a psp and the game. The database of players is extremly good but there are a few players i advise you buy and dont buy.Schevchenko is a buy not to have as he rarely scores.Adriano however is excellent. He scores alot for me.I usually play as chelsea, they are extremly good but not always winning. I have had difficult games in the past against fulham and blackburn rovers but beat manchester united 5-0 and arsenal 3-1.Overall it is an excellent game and I am extremly looking forward to Xmas so i can get football manager handheld 2007. But remeber young players provide the future.

Football Manager Handheld City
I pre-ordered this game totally unaware of what to expect.Having played it for a couple of hours I have to say i'm impressed and it is pretty much what I expected. Football Manager PSP is a good quality cut down version of the PC version. Of course there isn't as much depth as the PC version but did you really expect that. All the main aspects are there: training, buying players, scouting, tactics etc and the game is easy to pick up and play.If your a 'mobile gamer' and a football fan then this is for you. If youre looking for an improvement on the PC version then maybe you should stick to the desktop.

Very Good But Sometimes A Little Easy And tiresome
First Of All i would like to say that if you are going to buy a psp manager game this is the one you should buy. I made the mistake of thinking that Championship Manager was still the top game but, not hearing about SI and Eidos's split, and bought that one. After a couple of days i realized it was not the same as my old PC games. So i promptly took it back and discovered football manager which in short is really the old, good Championship Manager. This game is better in every department that CM. The game system is a lot better and players are more realistic in pricing and how good they are as well as results being more realistic. My only criticisms of the game is that sometimes it is a little too easy as there are too many good south american young players. I, after sending a scout there bought several young players and managed to win the championship comfortably with Crystal Palace and next season come 4th and the following season get to the champions league final. Also because of it being a lot simpier than the PC version can sometimes get a bit samey. Overall though a top buy which i would thouroughly recommend

Must get game for any football fan!!!!!!!
I must admit i am used to playing manager games on a console such as the ps2 or xbox. but the psp as taken the managing series by storm. One of the title football manager handheld has everyting a managing game needs. Easy to use quick game play and a in depth transfer system. It requires getting used to which is probably the only bad point in this game. All the players are real and there are also 30 players in a squad which makes it more difficult for a place in the starting line up but then again it will only be a plus point for your respective club. All in all this is a brilliant football sim but i would love the lma series to be on the psp as this will give huge competition to the football manager series.

Good, really good but not great
If you are a Football Manager fan this game is not going to live up to your expectations. If however you can remember playing championship manager in its earlier forms and you appreciate the limitations of the hardware then you will love this right up.This is a stripped down, no nonsense, back to core values version of everything that made the game great in the first place. The interface is familiar and easy to navigate. Once you have sussed out that the left shoulder button works as a 'back' function, you're flying. And even though the tactics bit isn't as in depth as you might like, that 'one more match' factor is as strong as ever. I am a good twenty hours in and haven't got any real issues with the game. Alright, so there is no option to manage international teams and with no reserve side, improving your youngsters is a little more fiddly but you can still loan players out. Also, playing all league games on a Saturday is a bit of pain, especially if you are in the Uefa Cup on a Thursday but these are minor gripes, I mean how great is it to win a crucial 5th round FA Cup replay on the train to work?As the title of the review suggests, it would be misleading to lavish 5 stars on a game that isn't truly exceptional. For that you would need this version of Football Manager to deliver something truly remarkable rather than the quality, solid piece of software it is. So then , more your Alan Shearer than your Ronaldhino, if that isn't too hackneyed a comparison.
