Q: How much detergent for a load??

I use my regular detergent or an unscented version of it and add just a capful of this for scent. Makes it last a lot longer.

Q: I heard this smells good, what's it small like? Is it a smell us men like and want on our clothing?

My husband loves it. I wash his robe in it as well as the covers on our bed. It's not overbearing it's just a great smell. I even use the Diva wax in my wax heater things. I also use the Diva car deodorizers. I don't wash everything in it but I would love to but a little to expense for all my clothes and covers. I have mine shipped on a every two-month order.
