Edit: So I bought some fine mesh bug screen, cut it out and glued it to the top of the intake area where air can flow in/out via the vents, and voila...no more boat filled with bugs after being covered for a few days.(Hint, hint, may be a nice update to the product...or offer a snap in screen).Easy to install, keeps the cover firmly tented to allow for runoff. Only item we need to address for upcoming boating season is the small noseems fly in through the vent and die under the cover leaving the boat filled with dead bugs. Probably a quick spray of bug spray around the mouth will take care of that.

I like the rectangular base.

Wish the material was thicker but it does the job of holding up the pontoon cover. I didnt install the vent caps as my cover doesn't have holes for the vents.

Follow simple instructions and cut canvas hole carefully.I actually placed the circle cut out of the template on top of the pole and traced around it with a sharpie marker. Then cut out the hole along the lines with the tip of a new blade razor knife. You must be extremely careful doing this to avoid slipping and cutting too much. Excellent designed product!

I have had the non vented poles in the past and they always fell or slipped when rained on or windy. These vented ones hold the tarp in place and allows the water to easily role off and keep the boat inside dry as well as vent out any moisture etc.

Easy to install and worked great, i can imagine having a boat cover without these, just sorry i didnt do it sooner. No more fighting my makeshift tent poles, looking forward to much faster time to cover my boat not to mention better air flow

These are just simply a must have for your cover. Don’t waste your money on a cover unless you’re going to use these. Without them the water will puddle up and pull down your cover and you’ll not only end up with a huge puddle of water inside your boat but you’ll end up with mildew all over your seats in time. I bought 2 for a 20’ pontoon boat and they work perfect.

Good product but over priced. The best application using the vent poles would be with a cover that snaps down and not a semi fit tie down mooring cover. NOW THIS: IF YOU ARE A PRIME MEMBER YOU WILL NOT GET FREE SHIPPING AS THIS PRODUCT COMES DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER. I had Amazon contact the manufacturer to see if they will grant the prime free shipping and they did not respond at all. Thats a bad sign if you any issues with their product in the future.
