I purchased this garment bag for an upcoming weekend wedding trip. I hope to transport 3 wedding outfits plus accessories and shoes in the garment bag as a carryon item on my flight

Sometimes you find a product that far exceeds your expectations based on what you paid for it. This is not that product. However, it is everything that I needed it to be.I needed a garment bag to keep an outfit that I occasionally wear at special events. I wanted a bag that folded over rather than to carry my outfit in a full length bag. Since I need to hang the bag up and change in a small dressing stall, I wanted something that was easy to hang and uncomplicated to unzip - which I have found is not the case with the new duffle style garment bags that are currently trending. This bag has everything I need - ample space for my outfit and two interior pockets; I use one pocket for my shoes and the other for my slip. There is an external pocket as well where you can put items you want easy access to.While this appears that it will be sufficient for my needs, it is not a particularly impressive bag. The fabric and straps all look and feel cheap. There's a lot of loose threads that I need to trim off. This is not the bag to get if you anticipate being hard on it, but for a light duty bag it's okay. I feel like it's a little over priced at $25 because if you pay a little more you could get a much nicer bag. If it was priced just under $20 then it would feel like a decent value.

I can get one outfit in the bag and a pair of shoes. Then I pack the shaving kit, after shave, lotion, etc. However my wife can pack at least 3 outfit and 2 shoes. Plus the top of her dresser accessories. ( maybe not all that ). But when she uses it she just keep pulling out stuff. I nicknamed her " Wasp " because she must be shrinking items before she packs them.

TL;DR - can get the job done as long as it is a not overpacked. Fits a niche situation when a normal suit/garment bag would be too much. Do not have others of this design to compare value so check ones costing 2X and see if maybe more what you need.Giving four stars based on limited use and limits listed below. Could be a two star based on more use or overpacking it.I recently had to go to a client and needed to carry slacks and dress shirts for 1 - 2 days. While I normally would use the "suitor" bag from our luggage set, the wife redid her closet and getting to that bag would take longer than I had to pack. I ended up using a suit cover (like free bag when you buy a suit) and a separate carry on case. While it worked, it was less than ideal. When I saw this, I thought if it works it would have been perfect.First two major differences, this is a three fold where normal suitor is a two fold so one more set of wrinkles. Second this is certainly on the thin side of what you can hold so for one (maybe two) day trip if kept to the essential clothes. It might be the perfect bag if you plan on changing post travel and before customer meeting if tri-fold does not wrinkle what you pack.Material seems study on the outside and passable on the inside. Zippers are same, outside large and study, inside normal or small. My concern is it will not take overpacking and survive. I believe this opinion is clear from above, I just want to make sure. Concerns like an internal seam will split, a zipper will jam, inside zipper jumps the track, or handle/strap might fail all of which would be a pain when travelling. If this happens, it maybe you overstuffed the bag and should have been aware. The one exception is packing two pairs of shoes unless loafers or flats. Since the bag is a tri-fold the top of the clothes (hangers) are in the middle between the two outside layers. Meaning the back of hanger section will be against front of shoe section resulting in the tightest fit inside. I would also skip the laptop since you probably already have a much better bag to carry it and accessories and would not want to see what happens if forced to gate check this bag.
