We think it would kill anything. Be careful using it. It killed everything around the trumpet vine including three rose bushes that were nearby.

Q: How much to mix with water for killing poison ivy

My father is a professional farmer, so I consulted him to deciphering the mixing instructions per the label. He suggested that I use 5 fl oz per 3 gallons of water (no other oils or diesel needed for my application). Fill the sprayer to the 3 gallon line and then add the Brushtox. Herbicides have a tendency to foam up, so he said NOT to fill halfway, add Brushtox, then fill the rest of the way since this could result in the mixture foaming up and possibly overflowing. This concentration will kill everything this herbicide is intended to kill. A higher concentration will literally kill everything. Brushtox is intended to NOT KILL GRASS, but at a very high concentration, Brushtox will kill grass and other plants you didn' want to kill. I have a very mature tree line of spruce and pine that gets overrun under the tree branches with thistles, virginia creeper, and poison ivy (plus other small saplings). I use Brushtox to kill these unattractive plants and it leaves the area under my evergreens with thin grass and pine needle coverage, which is exactly what I want.
