Harney and Sons Herbal Hot Cinnamon | 50 Sachets of Black Tea with Orange Peel, Clove, and Cinnamon

I’ve been buying this tea for years. It’s great in the winter but it is also an excellent iced tea. I send it to family and friends as a gift.

OMG.. Just LOVE it!

My husband and I first had this tea on our honeymoon in NYC while visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It tastes like drinking a red hot candy but not quite as spicy. It's perfect when you're sick or just want a comforting warm drink on a cold night. I also recommend using it as a mixer for a hot toddy!

One could swear they put a sweetener in this, but they don't. I drink it hot or cold. I use 4 bags to make 2 liters (about 2 quarts) of tea at a time. If you like cinnamon, get this tea. You will love it. Oh, and after 5pm you might try adding a little vodka and ice to it. WAY good!

I’ve re-ordered this tea numerous times! It has a spicy cinnamon taste with a slight orange undertone. I’m not allowed to drink caffeine due to a medical condition, and even decaf teas and coffee has SOME small amount of caffeine in them. I’ve never been a fan of herbal teas. I first tasted this at a friend’s party. Now, I’m hooked! I drink at least 1 large cup a day and I find the warm cinnamon aroma and taste so soothing and delicious. I highly recommend this tea. It’s good hot or cold ( not a cold brew, so you’ll have to steep it and then pour over ice). It is a red rooibos tea...not black tea so again, good for people who can’t have black tea or caffeine.

This is truly a pleasure to drink. Amazingly, it has no sugar but is perfectly sweet. The main flavor is cinnamon, but it also has notes of citrus and other spices. The rooibos takes a back seat in this tea, but you can still taste it.I now buy this tea directly from Harney and Sons in loose form to avoid the non-compostable sachets. Harney frequently has sales, ships for free, and usually has lower prices than Amazon.

I enjoyed the taste of this tea very much but in 2019 a study documented that many people are ingesting large amounts of microplastics, including through sachets like the ones used with this tea. Harney and Sons posted this on their website in October 2019:"About a week has passed since the report came out about petroleum particles. Here is what we have done:We have read and disseminated the complete report. Knowledge is power.We have been discussing this report with a professor to understand the science. After all, we know tea not plastic.We have been in discussions with the Canadian Tea Association, since the report came from Canada.Our goal is to find a material that allows for our valued customers to continue to enjoy the convenience of sachets without worrying what petroleum based plastics do to themselves and the world.Solutions:We continue to believe that sugarcane based polylactic acid is the best chance of that. That is why we have been working with it for over a year. However we have had a problem getting a tag attached. Hopefully, this week we can get that solved.We continue to trial it at the University of Houston, as well as providing these polylactic acid sachets in compostable 50 CT Sachet bags. They wanted a greener solution and this made more sense than material from genetically modified corn.We have ordered more of that material.We are investigating what happens to this material in hot water and the initial report is promising, but more work needs to be done to be conclusive.We have cancelled any orders for petroleum based material. We are burning our boats and changing.Please let us know of any questions that you may have."We deserve an update!

This is not the same as the other packages of tea I’ve bought in the past. This has got some reddish dust stuff in the sachets that wishes it could be as delicious as the previous product they used to send. It’s drinkable (meh), but definitely going to be looking for the REAL hot cinnamon spice tea I’ve been buying for years.

really sweet. Its a nice drink when you want something sweet. I find I have use a much larger cup or its too sweet.
