Tiny seeds, big results
I tried for 20 years to grow grass on the full sun bank outside our house. My wife would always note that the only place that kept growing was a patch of white clover. She has a sentimental attachment to said plant as it grew outside her family home in MN. So I ordered a pound of the seed and was pleasantly surprised to find that the seeds are truly tiny - probably a half dozen would fit on a pinhead. I punched them casually into the bare spots on the bank, watered lightly, and 3 days later little green heads came up. Two weeks later and they are a half inch tall and thriving, in spite of a couple of very heavy thunderstorms that poured water on the bank. Very little of the grass seed I planted at the same time have made an appearance. Unless you are wed to a golf course lawn or bank, this is the way to go.

Highly recommend!!!!
Our dogs have killed our grass. I read somewhere that clover is a great alternative so we thought we would give it a $10 try before resodding. Let me tell you what!!! This clover is so beautiful and sturdy! We live in Las Vegas and it's hot as hell. We needed something that could hold up. This seed has stood the test of time. We originally reseeded with an entire bag of this as well as a bag of grass seed. We fenced the area off and our entire 400 sqft lawns alive and well!! It has taken a bit of time for the clover to really "take over" but that hasn't bothered us. It germinated in 2-3 days and has been on a steady rise since. We mow it weekly and I can't praise it enough. We now allow our dogs on it and it's holding up fantastically!

High Quality Product,Shipped Quickly
My grandfather was a farmer who used commercial fertilizer on his corn and soybeans but never used fertilizer on the lawn surrounding the farmhouse. The lawn was more clover than grass. For less than I would have paid for a bag of lawn fertilizer,I bought a pound of these seeds and over seeded by lawn. At the seller's suggestion,I went a month before I mowed it,and the clover got established. I have no idea what the germination percentage was but lots of clover came up.I am not a tinfoil hat conspiracy crank but lawn seed mixes rarely contain clover seed anymore and the same seller want to sell me a bag of lawn fertilizer at least twice a year. If you overuse fertilizer, the excess gets washed downstream.Clover fixes nitrogen. Clover attracts beneficial insects. Clover chokes our some, but not all, weeds. I'm hoping it gets established well enough that I only have to mow it half as often as a fescue/Bermudagrass lawn. These seeds were properly inoculated and coated, making those heavy enough to fall to the soil. I'm on the east coast and the seller mail the seeds from Florida the day after I ordered.

Revived my dog-stained lawn
I bought the clover as a ground cover because I have a dog who did some damage to the grass (urine spots led to most of the grass being dead a few weeks after we moved in to our new home). The first time I hand sprinkled the clover around the yard without any prep work and watered it thoroughly every day as it got started. That attempt worked well in certain spots. I noticed that the clover really picked up where there was still live grass.I tried again with a second bag, this time mixing it with grass seed. That seemed to help a lot -- the clover and grass work well when co-planted. I had really hoped to have a clover-only yard but it didn't seem to be in the cards for me.Now, about 2 months later, I have successfully covered most of the yard, with just a couple of stubborn dead spots. I've been letting my dog pee wherever she wants and it doesn't seem to affect the clover (or the grass now that it has clover mixed in with it -- which as i understand it is because clover is a natural nitrogen fixer).I will keep buying more of this seed if needed, but I think the 2 bags plus grass seed was enough to bring an almost dead small (100 sq ft) lawn back to life!

Update Spring 2019: Love these seed packs. I have a full blown clover patch. I cut the clover down, planted lavender and some natural grasses in the clover patch and the clover came back in full glory and a rabbit moved in. He eats it like crazy but you can never tell as it grows back so fast. Also have honey and bumble bees too. It's nice have a little patch of wild on a block with over-manicured green sod lawns.Planted in warm, loose soil and watered daily. Saw first seedlings after four days and good coverage after seven. The attached picture is of a patch planted in an area shaded by large, old maple trees. Needs very little sun to grow.

Excellent Product!
I have nothing but good things to say about this seed. Planted my backyard clover and wild grasses lawn, as opposed to the lovelier, "Scott's Lawn" grass in my front yard, (total of 1.75 acres, in early Spring of 2014. Clover came up asi expected it to in my southern North Carolina red clay back lawn. Along with the usual weeds and fairly large patches of our southern fescue grass, the clover, both red and white from this "Dirty Gardener" distributer, came up very well. 2015 I saw the clover and other natural backyard grasses one up again, at least as well as their first year.2016 I saw my now third year backyard clover and mixed greens lawn com up thick and green, with no special treatment other than a little fertilizer applied in early March of 2016.I am now ordering this same seed again; this time with a little more effort put forth in my planting and feeding. I am looking now out at my lovely, mostly white with smatterings of red clover, blooming away, attracting a neighbors honey bees (he sells honey later in the season), which I love to see this day and age.
