Nature Made Chewable Vitamin C 500 mg Tablets, 150 Count Value Size to Help Support the Immune System

I have taken these for many years. I have tried other brands but always come back to this one. They taste like sweet n sour citrus and they work wonders on allergy conditions. Chew slowly occasionally putting some under your tongue (trick for instant benefits).Two winters in a row I experimented. First year I used the swallow type pills vitamin C and was sick regularly. The following winter I tried these and had very little illness and when I did catch something, it was noticeably lighter and was over it quicker.I take one with breakfast and if my allergies are bothering me I will take one with dinner. I haven’t had a cold since covid begen but when i get one, I triple dose these and it goes away quickly. It is impossible to take too much C and if you do you just pee it out. My family takes Vitamins daily. I was advised to start Vitamin C and know of the brand from current usage. I like that you can chew these and the flavor is pleasant. They are a tad large due to the dosage but you can always break them in half first. They are affordable and of a high quality. Highly recommended.

I bought this product because my subscribe-and-save Vitamin C product was always out of stock. So I found this Vitamin C with 150 count (3 months supply) to try it out. The tablet size is a bit bigger than the usual tablet (nickel size) but that's OK with me since it's chewable (which is my main requirement). The first initial taste was a bit sour but after a while I got used to the taste - much like a sour orange.

Several years ago I read in Consumer Reports about vitamin supplements, that there's little oversight in quality control, not being regulated by FDA, and it's Buyer Beware. They said there are however some testing labs that seem to have a good reputation for unbiased supplement evaluations, and as I recall, the USP label was one of them. So, other factors being equal, I tend to look for this label when I shop for supplements.

This is going to sound silly, but I save my Chewable Vitamin C tablet to after I have taken all my other medications and supplements. I don't like taking the others and the C tablet is like a treat because they are so yummy. I have to stop myself from the temptation of chewing up more than one. (Don't tell anyone, but sometimes I do chew two!)

This is what we will buy for a chewable vitamin C. Both the taste and the after taste are fine. I have tried others and the initial taste was ok, but the after taste was worse than extremely cheap, sugar-free candy. I am staying with this Vitamin C chewable.
