The PediX support base is a post anchor that meets the requirements for structural wood protection. It can be mounted on the end grain with fully threaded screws without additional trimming and pre-drilling. An EPDM seal between support base and column provides additional protection of the wood against ingress of moisture. After mounting the support base allows up to 50 and 100 mm adjustment. Construction-related manufacturing tolerances and subsequent setting of the individual foundations can be compensated by adjusting the height. The support base has a high pull and compression capacity. The durability of the base is guaranteed by hot-dip galvanizing to DIN EN ISO 12944-2 (C3). Easy to install with full thread screws without additional trimming, pre-drilling and milling. Min. Wood cross-section: 100 x 100 mm. Additional structural wood protection by sealing at the end grain. Construction steel S235JR (ST37-2) hot-dip galvanised. Delivery includes: Pack of 12 A2-full thread screws 5.0 x 80 mm. All PediX post anchors can be used in the service classes 1, 2 and 3 according to DIN EN 1995-1 -1.
