(edit- riding condition reviews below original)You're probably looking at this jacket after seeing the fortnine video on it from 2022. They were sold out all of '22 because of that video. I finally saw they were in stock. My local shops couldn't get them in, and I came to Amazon rather than RevZilla for no particular reason beyond my card was saved here and not there and I didn't want to go find it.This jacket is as awesome as it was made out to be by Ryan. Nothing I'll be able to say on here will be as eloquent or informative as he was.Well worth the money. It fits as expected (sizing the same as other Alpinestars jackets, like the Andes V3 I already had in my closet).Buy this jacket.Edit- the review still holds. I can now say I've tested it more thoroughly. Coldest I've been out- 14F. Toss the rain jacket inside like you're supposed to and it was a comfortable ride. I've tested the rain jacket AS a rain jacket on and off the bike- works wonderful. Doesn't get sweaty and nasty to wear like some rain jackets do. Warmest weather I've taken it out in is 75F. There was never a doubt this would do well in that. The sleeves come off and leave mesh arms, the chest and back open up into massive mesh windows. Sitting in traffic in the sun you'll be as hot as in any textile jacket, but when you're moving? Air flow is excellent without feeling like it's billowing around you. My previous summer jacket made me feel like a marshmallow on a motorcycle because of how it puffed up when vents were open. Sure it kept me cool, but was not comfortable cruising at speed on a warm day because of how it blew up like a balloon. All the mesh on this keeps that from happening. Pocket in front is BIG, and is handy for jamming everything into. I do like the side zip, but be warned if you're a bigger dude- this might not be the easiest to put on. I'm 5'11" and 245# (with a 36" waist). Little bit of a gut, enough that I can't appendix carry comfortably, and when I initially wrote my review I was 10# heavier. Losing that weight made a dramatic difference in comfort while riding and ease of getting it on and off. These jackets run a bit more form fitting than other options. They're not body gloves, but it isn't baggy either. If you're really overweight it would probably be much more unwieldy to put on and less comfortable than other options. My only criticism is the neck. I wish there was slightly more coverage from a higher collar across your throat. It wouldn't have to be much, maybe half inch or an inch. It's not a deal breaker, as I wear a neck gaiter in all weather anyways, but I feel like it's inadequate to even help keep the wind off your throat. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. It's a great jacket, replaced both my summer jacket and my fall/winter jacket with this beauty.
