A plug and play replacement.
I have a 2005 GL1800. The one of the original fog lights was not functioning correctly. Determined the unit was bad. These items are a direct replacement but LED. Since they were a direct replacement item, it was very simple disconnect the existing lights and replace. Less than an hour to make the exchange. I like the halo ring. Good illumination down low and left and right.

Died on first ride
The good news is that the mounting brackets fit the GL1800 well. Unfortunately, the projector lamp died on the first ride after installation. I know it is not a power issue because the ring light is still lit. Very disappointing. Now I have to start all over and find another type of fog light.
