Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger(32Amp, 220V-240V, NEMA 14-50 Plug), 25ft Cable ETL Listed Portable Indoor/Outdoor EVSE SAE J1772 EV Car Charging Station w/Delay Timer, WiFi Enabled

I installed the Aimiler 32 Amp/220 - 240 Volt Level 2 charger on 1/23/25. I purchased the 14-50 plug in version with a J1772 connector for my Chevy Bolt. I charge my car every night and the Aimiler charger has been absolutely flawless. In my opinion a Level 2 charger is a necessity because you can add 30ish miles an hour with a 32 Amp charger meaning I will always have a full charge every day its plugged in.The charger includes everything needed for installation which basically includes the mount for the charger and the mount for the J1772 plug. Installation for both mounts took only a few minutes. Once those were installed it's simply a matter of putting the charger in the mount and plugging it into the outlet. When I leave the house I put the J1772 plug into the other mount on the wall so it's not laying on the ground.I have been an EV owner since 2011 and and have purchased and used a few different brand chargers. The Aimiler charger is by far the best and let me tell you why;1. Safety first! It is ETL Certified meaning it has undergone rigorous safety testing and meets industry standards. ETL is certified by Intertek which a globally recognized testing, inspection and certification company.2. Quality! The 25 foot cable is thick, strong and durable. The charger has a smaller footprint than others I've owned but has the same quality feel and look.3. Price! This is much less expensive than others I've owned and also comes with a 3 year warranty.4. Basically plug and play. I plugged it into the 240 volt outlet and it was set to 32 Amp charging which is what I wanted. So all i had to do was plug the J1772 plug into my car and I was all set.5. Nice storage bag for taking it with you when traveling.6. Multiple other features including adjustable Amp charging from 16 amps to 32 amps based on your electrical requirements. You can also download the app and use delayed charging as well as numerous other options.Would I recommend this charger? Yes became It installs quick and easy, is competitively priced, it is ETL Certified, has a 3 year warranty and has been very reliable.

I decided to upgrade from the level 1 charger than was included with my car. After looking at MANY different chargers I decided on this one as my first level 2 charger. NO REGRETS. This charger does everything I could want at a reasonable price. I only use it in my garage and don't intend to travel with it. I've used it most days for over a month, and it's been completely reliable. The build quality is very good and includes wall mounts and a travel bag.I like that the charging rate (amps) is adjustable. My car can handle up to 32A but if I'm not in a rush I charge at 16A. I don't know the science, but I thought it might be easier on the battery to charge at lower rates. I even tried 12A once and that worked fine. Remember that it's your car (not this device) that determines the actual charge rate (up to the max set by this device) and the car will not always charge at the rate you set. For example, as the battery gets closer to full the car will reduce the charging rate. So, don't be surprised if the charging rates vary somewhat. That's by design.I like that it's integrated with the Smart Life app which I've already been using to control other smart devices in my house. The two main uses I was looking for was (1) View real-time charging data and (2) track my energy usage over periods of time. It does those two things to my satisfaction but overall, the app does feel a little basic. I've also noticed that in the "daily" energy use view it can sometimes be missing data for some days. The monthly and yearly views seem to work though. So, the app could use some improvements, but it has all the basics covered.I've been impressed with the customer service from AIMILER. I emailed them before purchase, and they responded within a day or two. I emailed a few more times after purchase, and they again responded quickly with helpful and courteous responses. I was impressed by this given how customer service seems to have degraded so much in general these days.The warranty is also impressive at 3 years. There is a printed card included that tells you to email them at [email protected] and they will extend the warranty an additional 6 months. As long as the company stays around my impression is they will stand behind their product given how they handled my emails but hopefully I'll never need to find out.In summary, I'm very pleased with the charger so far. As long as it remains reliable, I'll remain a happy customer.

I don't use this every single day since I still get free Electrify America charging. However, I wanted to have something in my garage for convenience sake. Since my laundry room is next to my garage, I was able to run a splitter cable for my dryer and a hole through the wall directly into my garage. The cord was long enough to where I can reach my car without any issues, and it charges like a champ. I love how you can change the charging amps to ensure you don't blow a breaker. The app is also nice, shows how much power you have used, current power draw, allows to set charging times, etc. For the price, it would be pretty tough to beat this unit.
