商品到着後、早速交換し使用してみましたが、数10分もしない内に本体警告ランプが点滅し映像が消えた。一度電源をOFFにしランプの接続状態から確認し再度電源ONしたが、状態変わらず。EPSONサービスセンターに連絡後修理依頼しランプ設置したまま点検兼ねて送った。サービスセンターからの回答は、「本体に異常なし、純正ランプで稼動テストしたが数時間経過しても問題等起きない」との事。当ランプが原因で発生した不具合との回答であった。また当ランプの光度も低く全体的に暗くなるとの事。販売元に「不良品のため交換依頼」を出しているが、4日経った現在も回答ありません。
