ALEX Toys Craft Hip to be Square Crochet

This is cute and we like it. We’re slowing learning how to crochet. I was disappointed that the tin was so messed up when we got it. It’s all dented in the back, but nothing was broken so I didn’t sent it back.

I purchased this for a Christmas gift for my 9-year-old great niece. She loved it so much. It was challenging enough to keep her mind busy and her fingers working, but not so challenging that she stopped making it. Her mother did have to help her just a bit which added to the spirit of the holiday!

I am a mother of a 12-year old girl but I bought this item for me, indeed. The instructions are really simple to follow if you have had minimun contact with the basic technique of the crochet. I loved the box, the excellent quality of the material and it is very beautiful. The bag can be used to carry all the stuff and more. It seems to me that a 12-year old child would or younger need a little help to make some of the jobs but I recomend it indeed!

Loved the combination of colors. Really nice yarn. Did not like the plastic crochet hook as the yarn would not slide easily on it. Replaced it with a metal one.

A gift for my niece on her 12Th birthday. She's just beginning to enjoy crafting, and this was perfect for her.

Nice kit to teach your child to crochet. Good value and well packaged.

Instructions are hard to follow and the plastic hook it comes with is cheap. I do like the amount of yarn included. Not a bad kit, but room for improvement.
