If you are looking for the perfect EDC in a gentleman’s folder this is it
If you are looking for the perfect EDC in a gentleman’s folder this is it. I say gentleman’s folder because this is an extremely light knife. You won’t be prying open crates with this but everything else you’d want to cut is fair game. What makes this knife perfect for its intended purpose: VG10 steel. An excellent steel that will hold a sharp edge longer than many. A beautifully designed classic drop point but with just a little extra belly on the cutting edge. Makes for a nice cutting surface at 2.75 inches long. Not too big that it needs a big handle to fit in yet not too small where you will be only openingnletters with it.The titanium handle is great. Great attention to fit and finish with a solid frame lock. The small details make it stand out. All beveled edges, extremely narrow and compact makes it disappear in your pocket. The drilled out holes are also sporting beveled polished edges which are nice looking. Some jimping on the thumb release on the frame lock adds more traction as does the jimping on the flipper on the blade. The pocket clip is another perfect part of this design. Deep carry all the way without being overly obtrusive. Just a perfect fit in the pocket. None of the knife will stick out above the pocket which IMO is how EVERY knife clip should be designed. The ball bearing system is smooth and solid. The knife flips out easily and quickly with solid lockup. No up and down or side to side play. Brad Zinker has a homerun in design and Boker has a winner with making it. Less than 2 ounces. Super strong titanium frame lock. Ball bearing flipper and vg 10 steel that is razor sharp from the box. I have hundreds of knives, high end and low all in a search for a blade that can be carried everyday without it feeling like a weight in my pocket. This beauty fits the bill and won’t scare the office workers when you deploy it for a task it’s now my go to for a sleek light but effective EDC. highly recommend for someone looking to lighten the pocket load but still carry a blade worth its salt. Great job Boker. It’s a winner!!

Baker pocket knife
I don't believe it was the fault of amazon, but it came with a loose blade. It might have happend at the factory. We are all human. I sent the products ack, and the the card used by amazon saids it takes three months to receive credit. Thats not right.

Great design. Needs some work out of the box
First off I want to say this is my favorite of Brad Zinker's designs. I still marvel at how a knife this size can fit in a package this small and weigh just 2 ounces. However, this is a Boker Plus knife and the fit and finish is a bit sketchy. The first one that I ordered had severe lock stick and the angle of the flipper tab was too steep. I sent it back thinking it was a fluke from the factory. Upon the arrival of my replacement I noticed they got the angle of the flipper tab right but the lock stick was actually worse!I took the knife apart, CAREFULLY sanded down the lock bar where it meets the blade stock and then polished both the contact points on the lock bar and blade stock. This did the trick. So I do recommend this knife ONLY if you like the minimalist design AND are willing to work on the fit and finish of the knife to get it where it needs to be.

It's not my Sebenza but it's a good deal for the price
I wanted a small, light discrete knife. This is all of those things. Design is excellent: skeletonized titanium frame, liner lock and VG10 steel in a classic drop point design. Blade is 2 3/4 inches which is perfect for a business EDC. The pocket clip is a deep carry and the gray color, carried over from the titanium, is very discrete. It's a "flipper" so if you're not familiar with deployment of this kind of knife, you'll need some practice. The hinge does benefit from an application of TriFlow, practice and some time. It's quite safe; no inadvertent deployment, and lock up, especially with a slight flip of the wrist, is secure. The manufacturing workmanship is excellent. The knife closes into the frame and is perfectly centered. Full disclosure here: at this price point, this SHOULD be a given, but it's not anymore. Also full disclosure: this is not a Boker Solingen German knife. It's made in China. However, a LOT of knives, some of them very good (think WE Knives) are made in China. One more full disclosure: if you have large hands of thick fingers, this may not be your knife. Boker makes one with G10 scales that's a little thicker and heavier, but would probably feel better for someone with larger hands. This is a case where one size does NOT fit all.My 20 year old small Sebenza is still the best knife I'll ever own. But there are times when I want something smaller. This isn't the Sebenza's little brother, by any means, but you could look at it as a second cousin that cost about 75% less. For the price and it's defined purpose, light EDC, it serves me well.

Nice knife for the money
I bought this knife because I like the larger handle size (compared to the Urban Trapper)... and I wanted a nice (but not too expensive) knife to anodize at home. The customization came out great.About the knife:Flips well and smoothly.Lock-up is solid.Extremely lightweight and easy to carry.Pocket clip is a friendly design. It would be nice if it had a steel lock bar insert to reduce the "stickiness" when unlocking.

Chinese Boker
They don't tell you that it's made in China. It is made in China. The flipper doesn't work as written above, it will take two hands to open. The liner lock feels like it could comfortably handle skinning small game. Beyond that cant tell. No film or video stress tests as other brands offer. It's not a bad or terrible knife. It's worth $80 dollars tops. It would be a god deal at $46 or $55 dollars. The design of the blades drop point is excellent for skinning game. It's small enough to use at work during lunch hour - won't scare coworkers. Im leery of the liner lock on this knife, it doesn't catch much of the blade. There is enough to like about it and I'm going to keep it.
