adidas Men's Superstar 4g Slides Sneaker

I. Love. These. Shoes!!! Let me say, I'm sure I am NOT the target market for this slide. I'm a 47 year old woman with plantar fasciitis! LOL I have been using the other slides with the prickly bottoms for a long time. They help my heel a lot, but not for all day wear. My oldest son bought a pair of these and raved about them. I thought they looked very comfy because the bottom is soooo soft and squishy. It's like memory foam on steroids. But they didn't look to have enough support for me and would probably not be good for my PF. Well, I had to go get the mail real quick one day, so I slid his on to go outside....I got on the computer and ordered me a pair right away. Even then I thought I would only be able to wear them for short amounts of time because of my foot issue. I have tried MANY shoes to help with my PF and I've spent hundreds of dollars on them to varying success. These have been a GOD send. I can wear these all day and my feet are doing so much better! These are my go to shoes and I wear them all the time. Not quite the fashion statement, but my feet feel good! I'm a SAHM so I wear them most of the day, just slipping them off to go out. But I have been know to wear them to the grocery store too...with socks :/ shhhhh don't tell my kids! LOL

I have the Adidas Superstar 3Gs and thought that they were great and they are!!! However, the Superstar 4Gs are equally comfy and great looking with one difference, the materials seem to be of better quality and thought. Mainly the bed of the shoe. The 4Gs are of different material than the 3G which at first gave me pause as I liked the 3Gs foot bed. I have a feeling that the 4G will last longer...they seem to be more durable. I have not worn them in the water or have gotten them wet yet but my guess is that they will be better suited for poolside than the 3Gs. In the end I love both the 3G and the 4G leaning slightly to the 4G based on overall construction and material.

So far it is a great slide. A bit stiff, and "built up" compared to most other slides I've owned. Like one reviewer said, it is a bit like a shoe bottom with heavy structure and support. Despite the rather featureless insole, which I was afraid would stick/be uncomfortable, it is almost slippery - I'm thinking because it is reasonable new. Have worn it out and about a couple of times now, and it seems like a very nice shoe - just needs to be broken in some. Very pleased thus far.

So comfortable to wear its insane! Bandage is very comfortable as well and they are true to their size. The sole is actually rubber so they will last for a long time. The padding on the sole is so soft to the touch! They are flat but conform to you're feet very well! I am extremely satisfied. Order whatever size you normally are and they will fit perfectly.

I LOVE ADIDAS SLIDES! Like Mr. Rogers, I get home from work in the summer and change from work shoes, but only into slides. The weekends...slides.But I am one of the may voices that over time have become listless hoping that Adidas would bring back the SuperStar 2G design. I hated the 3G's and settled on these when I couldn't find any more 2G's on eBay.These aren't too bad. The soles are fairly comfortable, although not 2G comfortable. They do show some wear a bit sooner than the nearly perfect 2G's did. Bad analogy, but the 2G's were like that girl that you'll always remember, but you'll never get to experience again.But, I do like the 4G. Better than the 3G. But nowhere near the 2G's. Adidas, if you're listening unlike you did the three times I directly e-mailed you about the 2G's --- bring them back! I'd pay premium pricing for them.

These are the best. Super comfy and durable. They have lasted longer than other similar ones with the nice soft footbed. No complaints and spot on fitment. When you put these on after wearing other shoes it’s a relief on your feet.

I love these 4G sandals for a few reasons:1) Comfort: The foot insert is flat and doesn't have cushiony designs like the 3G version. And your feet kind of sink into the slide, which gives the impression you're wearing a shoe (in a good way).2) Style: No one has these! Even the employees at the Adidas Originals store on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles ask me where I get my 4Gs.3) Durability: I live in a warm-weather climate and like to let my feet breathe. I wear these all the time and I've never had one pair wear out on me. I get rid of them in order to get a fresher, cleaner pair...but they always get 2 years of hard use and I've never had a quality problem.Overall, I highly recommend these if you're looking for something that's original, comfortable ,and retro!

The top is not quite as comfortable as the previous Adidas sandals I had or I would give it a five. They stopped making the last ones I owned. But, aside from that, I wear these to the store, to the park and just about anywhere I go and they stay on well and have a nice bottom cusion. If the top was as comfortable as the pair that they stopped making I would give it a five.

I just received the slides, they are excellent! They seem to be perfect, very nice looking, moderately soft and very comfortable. I bought them for home use. The white sides won't be practical for outside use.

My husband has extreme foot problems and he loves these as slippers. Excellent comfort for him.

Comfy, easy to clean, great design.

Bought them for my hubby, he loves them! They are very comfy. Fit was perfect.

The cushion is soft and comfortable but the only thing I don't like is that the strap is hard and scratchy.
