Concerns about longevity, safety.
This seat seemed like a good way to get some extra “suspension” over the back axel and potentially help with bumpy rides. As stated, this modification requires you to modify your existing seat - so make sure you don’t want to go back. I used a dremel and it was quick and painless. My biggest gripes with this seat kit is that the old seat rear bracket supports the width of the seat on the small welded tabs. This new bracket basically hangs from those very thin tabs. Maybe the weight distribution isn’t much different, but a whole lot of trust relies on those small tabs to keep your seat in place. The seat can also complexly come up from the lower springs. The posts had small thru holes in them so I added some cotter pins so it couldn’t accidentally come up.The front of the seat can sway a bit side to side due to it basically being a pivot. The rear bracket hardware is cheap. I stripped two bolts just snugging the bracket up to the bike. It’s likely the nut that’s welded on that stripped. If you’re a shorter rider, be aware this will add quite a bit of height to your bike. And your bars will seemingly be lower because of the angle of riding.Overall, good idea but poor execution.

Coleman BT200X broken spring seat
Installed the springs and metal plate on seat of Coleman BT200X. Only rode the mini bike three times and the weld broke on the seat plate (I only weigh 168 pounds). So dissatisfied with the weld quality and sturdiness of this expensive product.Hoping manufacture will replace it.UPDATE-JMCHstore replaced the seat spring set with their new updated version. The new updated version has a much stronger front and rear brackets. Installed it today and now have a much smoother ride on trails.Thank you JMCHstore for your quick response and great customer service!

Best investment
Before it was like sitting on the frame of the bike, now it's like a couch. Love it.

Read before buying!!
They work well they really do but, first off when the kit comes in you may have to mess with the springs to make them flush with each other, second make sure to tighten the bolts keeping the springs in place or else they will come undone while riding, and third off make sure that you have 4 small screws that’ll screw into the baseplate that connects to the seat to make sure it doesn’t move while riding but other then all of that the springs do work and are worth it all you need is 4 small screws and to make sure the springs are flush and bolts are tightened and you’ll be fine it’s also very easy to install.

Super super weak materials
It was awesome for all of 2 weeks. Had it out at the property and went to ride and was wondering to myself. "Why is my seat shifting side to side? And lifted it up. I have wiring understand so it didnt lift off completely thus the first picture but still. Great idea. I'll use the springs and everything else but I'll be fabricating up a new bottom plate out of good steel. This stuff was so weak I genuine think aluminum every time but it's heavier. The sheet metal for the bottom plate is just junk that's all and there should be some long codder pins in the kit for the back springs to keep the seat down but there's nothing for that either. Good idea, poor execution. I'd rather just have it factory to be honest they're quite stiff regardless I'm only 150 pounds all I notice really is the slop on the seat more so the change in ride quality. I don't street ride I'm on it like a dirtbike so the spring seat will probably go. And because they require you yo cut the tabs on your seat you gotta replace it to go back. It's a gimmick really. If you got a cruiser or show bike sure. If you really ride it? No.

Didn’t come with hardware.
Item didn’t come with hardware that was supposed to be included so I had to spend more and get nuts and bolts from the hardware store and like others said, the metal could definitely be a little thinker for strength
