LowaMen's Sirkos Evo GTX Shoes

Shoes feels very solid and are made very well. However couple of the issues I see with them makes me think they (in Lowe) don't actually EVER try their shoes on the actual people and just go by how pretty the shoe is.Foot feels OK, but much worse than in the Merrel's MOAB I wanted to replace, it's not gently hugged, but it's just there.... around.My biggest gripe is, however is with the heel -- mine just slips as I walk! It's astonishing, don't they know that human, while walking, raises this part of the foot first, when about part it from the ground? Did I just purchase leather Crocs?That makes it for the fairly awkward experience, and if I actually want to take this shoe hiking, I'm fairly sure that would cause serious injury on my Achilles tendon.I'm not returning the shoes but I admit that was my very first thought 10 minutes in the ownership.Don't buy. They don't hold the foot.
