Tried to get them to work on a variety of machine with no positive results! Too much of a hassle to send back - tossed them

I ordered this 3.5mm Male Audio Jack to USB 2.0 Female adapter to help with connecting various cables between my cell phone, computer and guitar amplifier. This device appears to be sturdy and well-made . The 3.5mm audio plug is compatible with my input jacks and inserts solidly without any difficulty. The USB end is standard size and accepts all of my USB-A plugs with ease. Since this is a relatively small item which can easily get misplaced, the fact that there are two in the package is an added bonus.

AUX car stereo cable worked good.

I’m not sure why but the headphones I was trying to use still didn’t work with this adapter..

I ordered this adapter hoping to be able to use my flash drive with my car radio, but it didn't work with my particular unit. I can't testify as to the device's longevity or other features since it didn't work for me. To be fair, the item's description stated that it wouldn't work with all aux ports.

I am looking for an adapter from my headphones to my phone. The description of this adapter has "AUX" in it. I have since discovered that ANY adapter that says "AUX" or "car" will not work on your phone, headphones, computer, laptop, or anything else that is not a car. In fact, Amazon does not have an adapter of this configuration (USB Adapter 3.5mm Male Audio Jack to USB 2.0 Female) that is for anything other than a car. I checked with Newegg, Ebay, and B&H, which are all much more expensive. This has turned out to be an almost impossible task.
