I am not a barber or stylist. I am just a guy who likes cutting my own hair at home with quality tools. I've been getting by with affordable clippers from the local supercenter for the last decade. But I've wanted something more portable, more powerful, and more professional for quite awhile now. I keep my hair short (I clip it at a #2) so I only need a couple guards, but I also like clean, smooth lines along the neck and ears. This product has everything I want, but since it has smaller teeth, I wasn't sure if it would be able to plow through my coarse, dry, thick, straight (Caucasian) mane. I gotta say, this performed wonderfully! It clipped my one week growth right down, very clean, only a couple passes on each region just to be sure to get all the hairs (I like to be extremely thorough). Great lines as well, much cleaner than any clippers I've used, and the teeth didn't bite or sting on my neck and ears at all! My only compaints are that the housing does get hot (I tried dry shaving my beard immediately after clipping my hair and had to keep stopping to let it cool down), and a couple times the teeth caught on my neck pores while dry shaving (though I've had many beard trimmers do much worse). So while I'll keep looking for an irritation free shave, this outliner works admirably for keeping my coarse mane clipped and trimmed on a weekly basis. Highly recommended!

Due to a leg injury and, at the same time, the covid restrictions -- I decided to temporarily trim my own hair. It takes some practice and maybe is not as precise as a professional barber, but it is much quicker, can be done more frequently, and is less expensive. These cutters are excellent. Remember to use the oil that is included!

You can get a good price on this, nowadays, because all the barbers want the cordless ones which run for 2 or 3 hundred dollars. I. took advantage of corded.These are sharp and durable. I cut my hair (buzz) and trim my beard (shortish) with this. I've had it for about what.. 3 or 4 months? It's the same razor my barbers used to use to edge my haircuts when I was a boy. It works. As the reviewers say, and they are accurate when they do, the razor gets hot after about 15 or 20 of constant use, but they still work fine.I used to to use the Connair type home clippers. They work fine but aren't durable. This is a professional model and it cuts/edges much closer and cleaner. Why not? It's professional.I like it. I got a good price on it, here. I'd buy it again.

The best trimmer I've ever owned. Watched a short video online about how to "zero gap" the blade and now it's my go to shaver/trimmer. Lots of power and surprisingly quiet.
