Seems to help
I actually really like this liposomal vitamin C supplement. They say anything over 500mg is a waste anyways, so I think the dosage is right on point. Now, as far as the liposomal part of things, the jury is still out on that one. This is obviously a bit more than traditional vitamin C. Not out of reach though, so I have no problem purchasing this.As for the pills themselves, I love the fact that this is made in the US, as I am wary of taking supplements from many other countries. The pills are a little larger than your standard size, so some may have trouble swallowing them. I didn't have a problem though. Overall, I'm quite happy with these supplements!

Interesting powdered form of liposomal C
Interesting that this liposomal is powdered. What I’m curious about is what the “liposomal” is in this product. Technically you ought to be able to get the liposomal delivery by taking as ascorbic acid with any kind of fat to improve absorption. This is obviously an easier and tasteless way to get the same effect and probably more controlled. Since this formulation is patented maybe the vitamin quality is more effective and you get value for money with 500mg C per dose. I like that this C isn’t gritty like most vitamin C, with smaller molecules that will hypothetically absorb better. No stomach issues taking this either—won’t have the same acidic effect as ascorbic acid powder, which it’s how I used to take vitamin C.

Is this the best form of Vitamin C?
To answer the question in my headline, I don't know. I do know that this is going to be more expensive than other kinds you can get, but you get 500 mg. per capsule and 60 capsules (a two-month supply) for what ultimately is a pretty good value. Again, I have no idea if liposomal Vitamin C is the best form or not, but the science behind it seems fairly compelling and the quality and the testing behind this product is definitely confidence-inspiring. I haven't noticed anything different since incorporating it into my supplementation routine, but I haven't really gotten sick, either. One thing to note is that I'm not sure, based on what I've read, that Vitamin C really prevents illness so much as easing symptoms, and I have been eating a lot of citrus fruit, but I do believe in vitamin C supplementation for general health, and I don't really have much confidence in just taking ascorbic acid. Of course, I don't really have any sound reasoning for any of this, these are all just opinions based on minor research and gut feelings, but the Legion liposomal C does inspire my confidence in taking it.

Tell us where this is sourced
Vitamin C can be taken in many forms. The liposomal form is the one that is supposed to be easiest absorbed by the body. It is also the most expensive. If you cannot afford it, at least try an Ester-C version, which is gentle on the body. I have taken liposomal in a liquid form before, but not capsule. The results I were hoping for were not apparent, however. When I take even a cheap store brand tablet vitamin C, I can usually see a noticeable glow in my skin in a few days. For the price, I would hope for better results, and also very importantly, to disclose where the ingredients are sourced. 'Made in USA' is important, but so is where the ingredients are sourced from. Please tell us, as we are the ones putting this in our bodies.

Differentiator is use of PureWay C
After having a good experience consuming Legion's Whey+ Whey Protein Powder the last few months, I decided to give Legion another try with this liposomal vitamin C product. It's always more challenging to judge a product like this when there is no immediate experience or impact, but since I've tried liposomal vitamin C products from other brands so I'm already familiar with the benefits of supplements packaged in this way, including the PureWay C used by this product. Since the product description here doesn't provide much information, you can reference the PureWay C website to get details. "The kind of vitamin C you take matters because not all vitamin Cs are the same. Many supplements contain large doses of vitamin C in the hopes the body absorbs a fraction of it before it ends up passing through the body as waste. Problem is, large doses typically cause extremely unpleasant adverse side effects, including nausea, heartburn, epigastric pain, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. But PureWay C is made in a completely new way so it’s safe on the stomach and isn’t associated with any side effects." The net result is that PureWay C has a 233% higher retention rate", which "means your body takes in much more vitamin C with PureWay C. All of this said, it's a judgement call whether a less expensive ascorbic acid product makes more economic sense for you, provided that you also consume 233% higher vitamin C in the process to match Legion's effectiveness. If you instead decide to go with a whole food vitamin C product, you will need to consume less vitamin C, but whole food vitamin C products are also more expensive than those using ascorbic acid.

Do your research
Do your research on "Liposomal PureWay C" and you'll realize liposomal C is the only Vitamin C you'll want to be taking. LEGION has done an awesome thing and taken PureWay C and packaged it up in a relatively affordable capsule. Yes, it's more expensive than your store-brand ascorbic acid... But do your research on ascorbic acid and you'll see how your body can only actually utilize a small fraction of what you take. With a liposomal C, it is theoretically more bio-available so your body can utilize more of a smaller dose, making it easier on the digestive system. As always, do your own research to determine what supplements make the most sense for you based on your needs and budget. However, I'm satisfied with this C supplement and will be happily taking it.
