Good quality non-leak tubes, great for measuring and holding tiny things!
As a scientist, I am very familiar with these types of tubes and the sister 50 mL versions. These tubes are typically high quality, non-leak, and excellent for measuring small volumes (if you are using the metric system/milliliters (mL)). As a reference point, 1 oz is approximately equal to 28 mL, so these, at 15 mL, are roughly 1/2 oz of volume. I use these types of tubes (especially the 50 mL version) for a lot of different purposes, not just holding liquids. They hold many different small items, like tiny hardware, sewing needles, etc. I've never used them for foodstuffs nor cosmetics because I am so used to using them in the lab, it would just seem wrong to me (and I do not know if they are made of a food safe plastic). But I have used them for animal feed/supplements and ingredients for making them (rabbits). This plastic is NOT brittle (they are used in centrifuges in research laboratories) so there is a tiny bit of flex, but it IS possible to break them. I've drilled into them and sawed them with power tools and occasionally had one crack or shatter while doing this, which is outside of the realm of marketed use, so just be careful when you come up with creative ideas for their use. One thing of note, these tubes are designed with a pointed (not flat) bottom. This is intentional, I think to make them perform better in the high forces of centrifugation. However, this means that they will not stand up on their own except on the cap. Research labs typically have holders to stand them up for loading/unloading of liquids (which I'm sure can be purchased privately) or you can drill holes into a piece of wood, but you should be aware of this because it isn't something that folks typically consider until they go to fill them and have nothing to hold them on their workbench or counter. A good, long lasting, tried-and-true product if you have a feasible use for them.

VISOSCI Autoclavable Polypropylene - good quality!
I am a retired scientist and have set up a lab to teach my grandkids science. We enjoy our time in my basement lab. I ordered these so we can grow cultures in them. So far they are working great for our layman's needs. My only concern was the caps staying on tight as kids aren't always careful and I don't want any growth media to splash on them. So far we have not experienced any issues with the lids. These are nice 50 ml centrifuge tubes. I do have a small centrifuge but we haven't needed to use the tubes in the centrifuge yet. But these are sturdy and I feel just as good as the ones I used during my career.

Leak proof and sturdy
These are very well made and you get a lot for the price. The lids are very secure and they do not leak at all. They hold up very well to the centrifuge. I love that the markings on them are simply stamped on as those can be hard to read and usually end up rubbing off over time. These were an excellent deal.

Leakproof, durable, with printed graduated marks, MUCH easier to read than stamped markings
VISOSCI Autoclavable Polypropylene Centrifuge Tubes, Volume 15ml, White Printed Graduated Marks from 1.5ml to 14ml, Assembled Leak-Proof Screw Cap, Gamma Sterile, 50pcs/Bag100% happy with these centrifuge tubes, exactly as described. They're leakproof when easily hand-tightened, are nice and sturdy, of thick plastic, and have very easy-to-read printed graduated markings. The printed lines are nice an thin for accurate readings, and the numbers are clear and easy to read, even without my readers. The printed marks are so much more functional that your typical stamped markings, which are a huge strain on the eyes. The white patch can be marked with sharpie or pencil.I'm using these for art supplies, inks and dyes, as well as dry craft supplies, not in a lab, so I can't speak to the specific lab claims. But I've used several types and brands, and these are my favorites by far, reliable and rugged.
