This is probably one of the best books on real estate financing I've read to date; The content is quick and concise, with good elaboration on the concepts of each point. Most of the books on financing out there are tailored for the US market, so finding one for the Australian market is definitely a gem.I think Konrad puts his points down very succinctly and backs it up with his experience without being too technical. For anyone looking at investing and structuring financing deals in Australia (or other Commonwealth countries really), I'd think that this would be a good book to read. Looking forward to his next book!

I'm happy to say that with this book, your proportions will be the opposite. Highly recommend this book if you consider buying an investment property in Australia, especially in Melbourne. I have to finish this review now as I need to read his another book - can't wait :)

I bought and read this in 2022. It's a goldmine of fantastic advice on broker selection, diversifying across lenders, interest only for maximum leverage, etc. Buy it for that. You will be glad you did. Written by someone who is actually doing it well and at scale makes it very credible. My only concern is that the figures being discussed are from a decade before I bought it, and sound quaint by 2022 standards, leaving me wondering whether the advice would be different in a various subtle ways if the book as updated and revised. Overall a very helpful book.

I have read this book several times now. It's packed full of high level tips to save you time and money (with your property portfolio). I didn't realize how much misinformation was out there until I ready this book, and never knew how many shortcuts you could take (and how much money you could save!) just by understanding finance correctly. It helped me borrow more money by allowing me to understand and overcome lending challenges once my portfolio grew and I learnt how to pay down loans faster and get the most out of my portfolio through advanced structuring. Exceptional read!
