My grandson asked to buy him something with a key to hide things from he's brother, i seen this wooden box on Amazon it was just what I was looking for, I was really pleased with it bigger then I thought it would be well made come with lock and key and tissue paper inside was a note saying it was a retro looking box that added to the charm, my grandson loved it he's but marbles in coins and a few other things he collects well worth the price .

There is nothing like a box to hide things, to open after many years, to have and behold, to turn into a little treasure chest of things you hold dear, and this particular box has the appearance that is worthy of adorning any shelf. My box would spin on its bottom and amuse the tots. It had a bowed base, probably through seasoning after construction. Many woods expand as they dry out. I fitted adhesive feet to mine and the problem was solved. All else was good for the price.

Good build quality and great finish. Good patina. Just remember to remove one key and put it away in case you accidentely lock the keys away!!
