I bought this HiLuckey power bank solar charger for a long hiking trip. I limited my choices to solar chargers less than one pound, felt this one with 3 panels would give me the best chance at keeping my phone alive. Ahead of this tip, I ran some experiments to test it ahead of the trip (see photo and summation below).Basically I found I recharge my iPhone 13 using the USB cord about 1.5 times with a full power bank (same or less using the wireless Qi charger). Set out in the sun, it'll take about 5-6 hours to recharge (not at an optimized angle at all, probably 30 deg offset). So basically I could fully recharge my iPhone 13 each day with this power bank set out in the sun for 4 hrs, but since I only use about 50% of the phone's power it'll likely be just take 2 hrs of solar charging each day.Note from the data in the pic: Qi charging is inconsistent, likely due to the charger - phone alignment. Use a cord if charging is essential for mobile communications.——--UPDATE———On my hiking / camping trip I found the battery pack section would get very hot when exposed to sunlight along with the panels, and as a result charging seemed to slow down substantially. In an attempt to remedy this I kept the pack in some shade (edge of a tent) and elevated off the ground so air could circulate around the battery section, which helped improve the solar recharging. With that correction, I was able to use my phone in airplane mode for gps trail navigation and for playing music (~5 hrs / day) on my 5-day hiking trip using this solar recharger with about 4 hrs of sunlight each day.I do wish this had a better means to attach it to my backpack, haven’t come up with a good plan for that aspect yet.

Well built! Charged with solar panels from 2-100% in about 8 hours left it in front of the window while I was at work. The wireless charging works great and the light is the perfect. USBs work great and it seems to hold a solid charge. Charged 2 iPhones from 20% to full on both and it still had 5% on the battery. Money well spent.

Needed this for a 1 week hike, and I read the reviews that it might die, so I tried it out daily to see if it would work before the actual trip.Worked fine for 3 weeks, and it died completely 2 days into my hike.I wasn’t going to carry a dead heavyweight battery for the rest of the hike when I wouldn’t even be back in town to return it within the 30 day time period.Biggest waste of money.

We have several children and are constantly needing charging on their devices. This is one of the best portable chargers we have ever purchased and love that they can be solar charged as well. It's a little heavy and bulky but love at how it can charge a device to its max in one charge

I purchased this solar powered charger for maintaining charges on a few electronic devices carried on a backpacking trip.I gave this device a 2-star rating because it recharged my devices quickly. In that arena, it worked great.But, the product review should have been 1-star because using the solar panels to recharge the charger is where it failed. I had run my battery down to 0% then laid it out in direct sunlight, starting at ~12:30 pm. By the time the sun dropped behind the trees and I no longer had direct sunlight, ~4 hours, I had only recharged the battery 22%. That is not good!!!! I am very disappointed and sorry I invested in this device. It did not meet my needs.

I keep this in my hiking bag and it’s perfect for when your in a pinch, just wish it was magnetic to hold your phone in place

I love that it is a battery maintainer when the phone is on the fence recording softball. Works very well with a fresh charge for the day.

Not powerful enough to charge my phone..and the solar panel doesn't really charge the battery..
