The plug is too short
It's a nice charger for a good price. The only thing I think it needs is a longer cord to plug into the golf cart. I don't like having to set the charger on the floorboard of my golf cart so the cord will reach.

Overcharges batteries
This product seems to overcharge my lead acid batteries. There is unusual heat generated when charging (yes I know some is expected) but it also forces the batteries to consume the cells' water. In one week I had to add 1 gal of water (6-8v batteries). At first I thought maybe this is for Lithium batteries but the label on the product clearly states 'lead acid'....but something ain't right with this...

I like the fact that is compact and indicates that the battery is fully charged.

Works very well, high quality build
This charger works exactly as described. It's very well made, with an even outer coating and heavy duty hardware and cables. Easy to use, charges well and quickly, doesn't overheat. I wouldn't call it 'lightweight' exactly, but I'm a very small woman who's not young. I wasn't winded or strained from carrying it, but I wouldn't call it 'lightweight' either.
