JL Audio 12W3v3-4

Update 1/26/2019: I bought a pair of comp subs shortly after my initial review and went back and bought these not long after. Planning to buy the wedgebox again if I can find it without the subs.I originally had a wedgebox with 2 w-0v3s with an NVX mono amp (400 rms each). I'm a basshead who has always liked JL Audio due to the lows they produce even with minimum power to them. The technology in these subs are awesome.I ultimately was going to upgrade to 2 JL 15s with a 1000D amp to power them. Thinking about trunk space, I went with the W3's instead. The are pushing 500 watts rms in the wedgebox and boy they SLAM not to be tuned to 40hz (I believe)! My eyeballs rattle and my vision resembles what I see in my rearview when I play my ole school rap. Jazz, or House music. Blurry like crazy.I plan to get a custom box made so I can have the best bass experience possible. Right now, they over-exceed my expectations.Visiting my friends one day they said they heard me about 10 minutes before I arrived at thier house. Mind you I also have about 60 percent of my car matted as well.Steering wheel visibly shakes too.

Could never goes wrong with JL, i had 2 12" w1 in my trunk they're sound awsome so i thought why not try to replace the home theatre sub driver with an 12" JL driver its might sound better. OMG i could never imagine the result, the bass are accurate and tight. Love it, recommended to anyone want a good sub for home theater these are the one to have

Needed to return and Amazon would not allow me to return it because it had "gas in it" which is completely false. Now I am stuck with a $300 speaker I dont need.

Great Quality. Great Sound and awesome design. I have had these for close to 4 years now and no issues whatsoever.

No dislikes. I'am a jl audio fan. If SQ is all you want then it's perfect. SPL then this isn't your sub in my personally opinion. It has a little bump but geared mostly towards SQ (sound quality.)

They are very nice an have a good range i currently have 3 twelves jl w3 one in our truck an two in a trailblazer on a jl 500, perfact and ful proof,

I just can't fault this subwoofer. I bough this one to pair with my other W3 that's still going strong after 9 years use. You really couldn't tell it's a 9 year old sub, it looks brand new!The new one is great too, now I have a ton of bass in my car. Love it! The next product I buy from JL will be one of their higher end subwoofers.

OMG . It's bass like I've never thought possible in my318i. JX 250 amp and sub in boot ...all my music has had a new lease of life ... The Hills by The Weekend such lovely bass.

Come da titolo, basta dire che è un subwoofer JL per non aver bisogno di dire più nulla....Ho montato questo sub in una cassa bass reflex in legno MDF costruita seguendo il progetto presente sul sito JL.Il basso prodotto è potente e pulito, per essere pilotato a dovere basta un amplificatore non potentissimo ma di qualità,io lo piloto con un audiosystem 400w RMS collegato a ponte e mi regala tante soddisfazioni.Scende abbastanza di frequenza, io l'ho tagliato a 60 Htz con il crossover elettronico dello stereo.Acquisto consigliassimo come qualunque prodotto JL.

Ottimo woofer. Installato in un cassa chiusa e pilotato da un Audison 1.500. La differenza rispetto all'impianto premium di serie si sente eccome, l'impianto cambia volto. Consigliato in abbinamento alla sua griglia di protezione.
