Q: On the nutrition label, it says “added sugar” while they claim it is 100% honey. Does anyone know why they added sugar and claim 100% honey?

Although a favorite of mine, I never really noticed that... Thanks for pointing it out! Still waiting to hear from a company representative. Perhaps this is just another example of what I call 'labeling info loopholes.' The product description way very well pertain to that which is the 'actual honey content,' so in that regard it would be truthful. The Added Sugars info is very obscure. That, plus the fact that the label does not list the ingredients, makes me the manufacturer's intention. This is the same way that Cracker Barrel provides small bottles of '100% Pure Natural Syrup,' creating the perception that this is 100% Pure 'Maple Syrup,' especially since it does look like maple syrup. In smaller text, but at least front & center, it states '100% Pure Maple Syrup-45% Cane Syrup.' Now, keep in mind that sugar, no matter how its processed, is considered 'natural' as it is at least derived from a natural substance. While the word 'natural' is not a deception, I consider the wording deceptive. But shame on me for the assumption. The honey label is different in that it seems very straightforward. For now I'm holding off on future purchases. Pity, as this is a delicious honey.
