This handheld steamer is small but very mighty. Instructions were easy to follow and the steamer was easy to use. It does steam quite well and I was very impressed how well it worked. The tank is small and does require you to refill . The pressure is great and is decent and gets the job done. It has some weight to it and seems very durable and works amazingly well and I do recommend

I bought this because of the metal fittings, the long hose and acceptable cord. It took 15 minutes to build heat to steam. The steam flowed, but then reverted to hot water, and back again to steam. When discharging water, it created quite a puddle. I needed to have a couple of towels available for sopping the excess water.In regard to cleaning, I don't have any other steamers to use as a comparison. It did loosen caked on dirt so that I could then scrape or wipe the grease/grime/ cooked on food from the surface. It did not eliminate the need to use my regular cleaning tools such as a razor blade for the stove or a scrubby for the oven. Neither my oven nor my stove top was very dirty, but the steam did help with the removal process. I hesitate to depend on the claim for hygiene since the steam was erratic.My biggest complaint is the excess water. However, I did note that many reviews of other steamers complained of leaking from the steamers. I wouldn't call this leaking, but I was hoping for a continuous stream of steam.I have only used it once. I will try it again on some other surfaces to see what I think.
