Boruto Kunai 24 Color Change Light Up

It was sold to me at Anime Expo and they didn’t have a screwdriver to open it to put the batteries in and now I’m home trying to put batteries in go test it out... and it doesn’t work. Brand new AAA batteries and nothing... what a waste of $25+taxes -.-
