Does the job
This thermos keeps the food at above room temperature when my kid actually gets to lunch time. You have to hand wash it, the top is hard to clean well. I haven’t tried putting in soup. The paint is pretty durable.

Can't get smell out of lid
Loved this thermos at first - keeps food warm for hours and has a pretty exterior. However after a few uses, the lids trapped in horrible food odors that I cannot get out, despite soaking in vinegar and cleaning endlessly. Can't use the thermos because the odor is so strong and permeates whatever food you put inside it.
