Weatherpod Mesh Pod

I’m am so happy I finally got one if these! I am Not an outdoorsy person, and I hate bugs! Now I can go outside without being bothered by bugs. I can sit at picnics and eat in peace! She easy to set up. Just slide out of the bag and it just pops right up. Be careful not to do it close to other things. It’s pretty fast. Seems very durable. I’ve only used it once but so far it worked great at keeping my personal space bug free. You’re also protected in case of a pop up rain shower too. If you’re like me and like to sit out under an enclosed area when it rains this is even better. It does fold back up and goes right back in the bag. I recommend watching the video on their website. It does work. Takes a little practice, but it’s easy to do when you get it figured out. I’m 5’2 and I can just about stand up straight inside of it. Plenty of room for a fold up lawn chair with those built in cup holders. The screen isn’t too dark. I think it’s good on those super bright sunny days to help keep you shaded.

I bought this for my patio to protect me from mosquitos. Works just great, I like the open sides for summer breezes without getting chewed up by bugs. All the zippers make it easy to get in and out of. It is a bit tricky to fold this up to fit in back in the carrying case, but there are some YouTube videos that show you how to do it.

This is the first one I've owned and it took practicing a couple of times to get it folded back, but after the first couple of tries, I was able to fold it up and get it back into the carrying case. The mesh sides are great for summer and buggy conditions. The zippers and stitching are good quality. Not the best, but I would consider the quality sufficient for the application. They certainly aren't the worse either, but they are sufficient. The tarp floor is great for keeping your belongings from getting dirty or wet and keeping bugs out of it. I have an oversized chair that leans back a bit and a footrest. The chair fit comfortably inside. Obviously the footrest would not fit, but the pod is not designed for that. But it left plenty of room for a personal cooler and a backpack. The pod comes with stakes if you are fortunate enough to be able to stake it down into the ground. My first use of it unfortunately was on pavement so a strong breeze did blow it over. My chair kept it from complete blowing away, but it did overturn the chair, so having the cooler and backpack on the floor helped weigh it down. It rained a bit twice the first day I used it. Obviously the mesh is not intended to keep rain out but I was turned away from the rain, which was only a light rain so I didn't get very wet at all and it kept my cooler and backpack from getting drenched. Everyone else at the car show had to run for cover. The mesh did provide a bit of shade from the sun and when the sun moved, I just lifted my chair and turned the pod again, easy peasy. The black top and back wall provided ample shade when turned against the sun and made an otherwise hot and humid day very enjoyable. Many people commented on the pod and asked about it. I ordered the original pod with plastic sides for cooler temperatures and rainy weather and am excited to try that one out this fall. The carrying case is really the only complaint I have and it's a minor complaint. The zipper is not as good quality as what the pod has and could benefit from an upgrade. It's certainly big enough though to hold the pod with a bit of extra room. Overall, I really love this pod and I hope the company, over time, will only make improvements to the products. The quality of materials are middle of the road, average quality and will hold up to regular use for a while. They certainly would not tolerate any abuse or use outside of what is recommended as "normal". The company's website is very thorough and they provide very helpful instructional videos on how to unfold and fold each type of pod they sell. Thumbs up just for that! I did refer to the video on proper folding. Overall, I would purchase this product again and I think the price is right.

As advertised. Zipper woks easily, folds and unfolds effortlessly. Sets up fast. Highly recommend especially if you’re in a place where the insects sting and bite. In the warmer months I enjoy a glass of wine with a cigar outside but get eaten alive that is until now.

This thing is awesome! Everything is true and just what I needed. I can sit on patio and drink my coffee in the morning mosquito-free. However, I ordered the wrong one. I thought I got the XL size for $124 but I got the smaller one. It is too small for me to be comfortable and not feel cramped. Plus! My inside cats love to sit out in it without me worrying after zip them up. Try it, you'll love any of them! I returned the smaller one and got the XL that I wanted in the first place.

Bought one for hubby this summer because of his allergy to bees. We also use it by the fire, and on the deck when the bugs come out at night. It works! Keeps out even the tiniest gnats and mosquitoes! Gonna get another one for me this summer! Folds into a flat disc for travel. Roomy enough for a little fan, too! Love it! Sturdy and well made. Beware of imitations! I’ve seen a lot of cheap knock-offs but Under the Weather Mesh Pod brand is the best!

I purchased this as a Meet and Greet space for cat rescue adoption events. It works wonderfully, is well made, and is easy to put up it in seconds. My only slight criticism is that I wish the netting was a little more sturdy. The netting is fine for regular activities but I'd love to see Under the Weather make a heavy duty version that still has good air flow.

I enjoy the portability of this tent and the ability to even lay the tent on its side for afternoon naps. I find that the tent has done a good job with protecting again bugs and the sun, and due to the entire length of the mesh can get good airflow as well. It took a little practice to learn how to fold the tent back down, however the video's supplied were very useful and now I find it to be a quick process. I also enjoy that there are zippers on the inside and outside of the pod making it very easy to enter and exit. Overall I have enjoyed using this pod and find that it does keep me from getting bit by pesky bugs.

Allergy to bug bites. This product allows me to be outdoors with family, bite free.

I love that they posted a video on how to fold it back up. It’s nice and big and also has pegs to secure it to the ground.

Love this pod, excellent product. Easy to fold, lightweight, great for camping. I made sides for the rain from a tarp, would be nice if it had mesh and solid side but great product.

A life saver for me to be able to be outside again. Am highly allergic to wasps, yellow jackets and hornets. Unfortunately they have made this almost too small to be comfortable in. I am only 5'4' must keep my knees completely bent so as not to touch the screen. Difficult at times with arthritic knees. Six inches wider all around would make a huge difference and shouldn't be that much more costly to make.
