Works well as a zigbee extender
I have some battery powered temperature sensors which were out of range of my zigbee hub - connecting them via this instead has worked very well and now the network is showing a much greater signal strength.

So I'm quite new to smart tech and home automation in general. I liked the idea and my wife was sceptical about it either not working or just making things more complicated.I was looking for a smart plug that wasn't a £30 smart plug.I am using the ConBee 2 Zigbee hub and it works perfectly with the Hub. PROS: Easy to connect Conbee 2 using the Zigbee integration just plug it into power and then wait a few seconds and the plug shows right up then rename it and give it an area and you're off to the races.Cons: So I only have seen one downside and it's part of a good side. On the side of the plug is a button to turn off and on the plug without having to use your home assistant dashboard or smart devices Google,Alexa or Siri. This is a very helpful feature for easy reach depending on where you are placing the Plug of course. The down side being it has a blue LED that can not be turned off, good for seeing in the dark but completely unnecessary In my opinion. If i were to make the plug id have it optional to have the LED on or off and weather the the LED is only on when the device is set to the on position so it would be easy to tell if the plug is set to on or off at a glanceConclusion From a Home assistant user I 100% recommend this product. I got it for an on sale price of £12.79 and you can get the bundles if your looking at getting multiple then The four pack is 100% worth it at around £12.50 a plug or you can pick up one at a Time as they go on sale cost is a little higher per plug but you do have the convenience of not having to drop £50 all at one time for them they seem to go on Sale quite frequently as well.

Easy connection to Home Assistant
Compact and basic Zigbee smart plug. Connected to Home Assistant via ZHA very fast, allowing me to use it in automations. Does not include power usage monitoring, but that is fine. Low price. Seems decent quality.

Weird flashing LED issue if you use with a Zigbee Controller
It works just fine, but there's something weird going on with the internal LED which basically starts flashing rapidly after a while - something that could be hugely annoying if you have it on show (switching it on/off actually fixes this issue, but nonetheless it's annoying). Manufacturer blamed my Zigbee Gateway (Tried with Hubitat and Smartthings), but ultimately Zigbee is a universal protocol, so I've no idea why it would react that way for one thing and not the other and suspect it could be easily fixed with a firmware update, but alas, there is not one.

Simple, good vfm and a cheap way of extending a Zigbee network
I use these with Home Assistant / ZigbeeMQTT and they dropped straight into my Zigbee network without issue. They are a very cost effective way of extending a Zigbee network because they act as routers. It should be noted there is no energy monitoring with them but for the price i can't grumble, they work perfectly for my needs.Attached photos showing model details / exposed options.

Works with Home Assistant
Worked straight out the box and with my home assistant Zigbee2MQTT network.I primarily purchased this as a router to extend my zigbee network out into my garden so I can turn my shed lights on and off. The product has worked perfectly and done exactly what I need it to

No power monitoring
This product is not as described, it claims to have power monitoring, it doesn't. As the only reason I got this was for that, it is being returned.

Brilliant
Not often I review something so quickly after receiving it but felt I needed to with this plug socket. If you have an echo dot 4 then getting this to work couldn't be simpler. Just plug it in and ask your echo 4 to discover devices. Simple as that! A quick check on the Alexa app confirms that it is connected to the echo 4's built in Zigbee hub. This is great for me as I'm limited with the number of WiFi devices I can connect to my router. Connecting directly to zigbee means I can now start to increase my number of smartplugs again. I'll definitely be buying more of these. Very happy with this purchase.
