Way, way better than straps.
I've used straps for years and messed around with them wondering which way is best whilst lamenting at the fact you can never quite get them to grip just right. They always slip a little and it never feels the same on both hands. These babies though! Absolute game changers. I was skeptical at first as there just doesn't look like there's enough material to grip. This is because the strapping doesn't wrap all the way around the bar. However it doesn't matter because the little pad works wonders and they just work. Trust me, I've been working out for 38 years of my life and I've had straps, chalk, old fashioned cycling gloves (that's how old I am) but these are an absolute must have for back and bicep days. The wrist strapping has an extra bonus of giving quite a lot of wrist support too so it's a two for the price of one kind of thing. For the price they're a no brainer. No negative comments save for the black dye coming out a little bit when they're very new but I genuinely think they're brilliant.

Work well and safer than figure 8 style.
These work well, they also seem well made and durable. The materials are good quality tough. The figure eight straps I had before struck me as possibly dangerous, as you wouldn't be able to just drop the bar on a deadlift if necessary. The only slight issue is the metal part of the wrist strap can be uncomfortable on your wrist bone if not positioned just right. But this is easily rectified once you've used them a couple of times.

Can’t do without them now!
Absolute game changer. I tried a lot of straps when I started powerlifting and none of them fit the bill - til these! I can’t fault them at all, as well as really supporting my grip on heavy deadlifts I also use them for single arm Dumbell work and even lat pull downs when I go up in weight. I need to buy a standby pair as I thought I’d lost one a few weeks ago and i was devastated! In comparison to other straps similar to these that I tried - the grip part is a bit longer and softer which makes it easier to wrap round bars and more comfortable for your hands!

Brilliant and a bargain.
These are excellent. A didnt know you needed it but can't do with out it product. Now an indespensible in my gym bag. Once you get to grips with them (excuse the pun) they make a massive difference to any rowing, pulling exercises. Especially higher rep sets where forearms/ grip become the limiting factor. If I'm rowing I want my lats to grow, not my forearms, and they'll grow more if I can eke out a few more reps on in my work sets per session because of these. I was tempted by the very expensive American brand, a la Dr Mike Israetel, but these absolutely do the job. Don't think about it, just buy 2 pairs now, in case they put the price up and you leave one at the gym never to be seen again :(

Durability questionable.
The media could not be loaded. Comfort and fit is nice but the extra pad at the end makes the grip difficult because it’s too thick.Durability is so so. Not recommended for those who lift more than 120kg. Mines ripped into half after deadlifting 160kg. Sad. Only 2 months of use.
