Leaves a great professional and secure fitting. Bought to do a DIY solar PV install on our Moho, crimping various cable sizes. Used since on a few ‘tidy up’ jobs too.Great selection of sizes and quantities. Crimping tool seems sturdy enough after 50+ uses.Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

Just thought potential buyers would like to know. It's really good crimper for its price. Already tested and it works excellent. Really good value crimper.

While it's not the cheapest ferrule set available, it's certainly not the most expensive either (I would say still within the 'budget' range) and is actually a well thought out, easy to use and, from the feel of it at least, a solidly made crimper set.The crimper itself feels well made and, crucially, is easy to crimp. Over my years in electronics I've used a multitude of crimpers and some of them have, quite literally, been a pain to use requiring a lot of force to complete the crimp. Not this one though. It barely seems to require any pressure at all to compete the crimp. I tried it with three of the wires gauges I mostly use and it had absolutely no problem with self adjusting to the crimp sizes and making a good, solid crimp with very little force on the handles at all.The range of crimps that will fit will certainly cover pretty much anything the home user and hobbyist would need and indeed would cover most things that a pro user would need. There's a well thought out spread of quantity for each size. The crimps feel good quality with no sign of the plastic shrouds coming away from the ferrule itself.As I'm just a hobbyist these days, this will be an extremely welcome addition to my tool kit.

Items look good but unfortunately the case that houses the connectors was damaged, can't contact seller. I just need a new case and don't have time to send back an re order

Functional hexagonal crimping tool - gives a decent crimp. The ferrules are not the best quality although they do the job.
