Good quality. But will probably need a clear varnish to protect the figures once painted. When building the stand push the pieces to at the end to avoid breaking the wood. The dividing sections are quite thin. Colours are good and good value.

You get a lot of paint for your money with this set so although the initial outlay is high if you can see past that it is good value for money.I was a bit disappointed that only one fine brush was supplied, if that's all you have base coating a group of figure will take a long time. The paint bottle stand might be fine for a lot of people but I don't have room to have my paints out permanently and so have to pack them away after use so I much prefer an good strong box, which this set has.I know it is the style with miniature paints from AP and GW to have wacky names for there paints but I personally prefer a more normal name.The paints work the extra tones and effects are a nice addition and can add an extra dimension to your figures. Unless you are painting on an industrial scale the set should last quite awhile, although the more popular colours will need replacing.Overall a nice set.

I bought this for my wife who wanted to get back into miniature painting after almost two decades away from the hobby. She was very impressed and said that it has everything to get started again.
