I have a place in my house where this serves perfectly. It has a 5 foot power cord and you must be able to plug this into a 110 volt household type outlet. Small enough not to take up much space but gives the options to plugin up to three USB devices and functions also as a power strip to accommodate 3 regular household plugins. Right now, I have this sitting on the floor, behind a small desk, next to my favorite chair in my living room. On my desk, I have a very small and quiet USB fan and a small USB powered light plugged into it and still have one more USB port open to use for whatever. Also, it now opens up the option to plug in 3 other 110 volt devices. I may just bring out my practice amp and a pedal or two into my living room with these plugins options. Or now, it will be easier to reach a certain part of the house with my vacuum cleaner with this plugin location. There would also be many ways to use this around your computer or would be good to use around your bed or headboard or nightstand. Would be nice as well, to have when traveling. With all of todays electronics, you can never have too many USB hubs and power strips to plug things into. Not too bulky but yet adds a lot of functionality.

I keep this device on my nightstand. Why? 1) Because it's relatively small and doesn't take up a lot of space.2) Because it allows me to plug in and charge multiple devices, with ease.3) Because it's easy for me to lean over, press the 'on/off' button and switch everything off.4) Because, although it's a simple design, it looks good on my nightstand.5) The led indicator light is soft and unobtrusive.Like I said, it's perfect for what it does! Other things to note: The power chord is 3-prong, and is made of thick, heavy duty material. The base has rubber padded feet so it doesn't slide around too much, or mark/scuff your furniture. The only con to this device is that the USB charging ports charge slowly, but that's okay - you leave your phone plugged in overnight, and it will be fully charged by the time the sun comes up.

This is the travelers best friend! Seriously an amazing product. I travel with a ton of electronics, and this is the most awesome travel companion I've found. You only need one adaptor plug for wherever you are in the world, and you can charge 6 devices with ease. The USB ports work flawlessly. I ran a 230W laptop with an HTC Vive setup using this, and it worked great. It's seriously light weight, and compact compared to carrying multiple USB chargers. If you use USB devices, just buy it. Some of the best cash I've spent. Oh yea, build quality is simply untouchable in the adaptor category. What are you waiting for, buy it. I don't leave many reviews-- so the fact Im leaving this one should tell you something.

I bought this product to always have a charging port near my bed. It has been beneficial when I need to plug something in quickly. The charging port's cord is very long so it can be placed almost anywhere, it was fairly hard to get it in place at first because the cord kept wanting to roll up but that didn't last more than a day. The main downside is the USB ports do not charge things and instead can be used to plug in LED lights, lamps, etc. Overall the product is very handy, I just wish the USB ports charged my phone.
