This mattress cover is very thin. It is soft but if you are used to a plush pad you may not like it. I haven't been able to bring myself to fully trust the waterproof claim. I always put down another layer of protection first and then this cover because I have cats who 99.9% of the time are totally fine and never have any issues but on rare occasions I have had to change the sheets because someone peed on them. It really only takes one failure to ruin a mattress. I will say that so far I haven't noticed anything leaking through the top layer of this cover. It is very quiet which is a must for me because I can't stand the crinkly plastic sound of other waterproof brands. It also fit my mattress well and I didn't feel like it had to really pull and position it just right to get it to fit. It also isn't super loose. I don't feel it sliding around when I move at night. As far as comfort goes I think it is a win.

I use mattress pads mostly to prevent sweat from going into the mattress. For this requirement, it seemed to work okay. I didn't try a big liquid spill on it. This one was my first with a terry cloth top - it made the top feel nice and soft.Even though it is contained in a lovely bag, I have no intention of attempting to fit it back into the bag.The queen size fit the bed perfectly.

First off, I do agree that it is silent. No annoying crinkling sound. However, it shipped loose in a cotton bag. There was no protective plastic seal or wrapper. It looks like maybe it had been returned and they just rolled it up in a bag and sent it. I have no idea if it was new or used. I suspect it had been returned to them at some point. Would not recommend this seller.
