Q: can i grow these into plants or are they just for eating sprouts?

Hello and thank for your question. Our seeds are specifically selected for sprouting. I have never grown any of our seeds to a full mature plant stage. I do not know if this will grow into a mature plant nor do I know if it will produce any peas. They are delicious grown as pea shoots and that is their intended use. Thank you Sprout Lady Rita

All of the seeds are hydroponically grown in Lake Katrine, New York.

Hello Thank you for this question. Because the pea shoots get so long the do not sprout well in jar. These are best suited for a tray type of sprouter. You can use the Sprout Master trays (single or large triple) a standard nursery tray that measures 10 inches by 20 inches. A regular pot that you put a plant in. But trays work best. They are ready to harvest in about 8 to 10 days. These are tender and sweet and delicious. Hope this helps. Your friend in sprouting Sprout lady Rita

Q: What is your seed germination rate and have customers indicated any media mold issues when the peas sprout?

It takes me about 3-4 days to produce perfect broccoli sprouts. I have not tried pea sprouts yet but I have had no mold issues. If you are concerned about mold, I would suggest rinsing them more frequently and not crowding them in the tray. Shouldn't be a problem otherwise. (You can also use a small quantity of food grade hydrogen peroxide in the rinsing water if mold is still a problem.)
