If you use somewhat even remotely sharp knives, they will just simply tear through the stitching making the knife wrap not of great standard

First knife I put in went straight through the fabric, fortunately didn't slice my hand as well. Not fit for purpose, fabric is super thin

I have no need of a wrap for my kitchen knives but this is perfect for my chisels. The canvas is very heavy duty and should wear well as long as the stitching doesnt get cut but for my purposes I only have the end stitching to worry about which could be reinforced with studs if necessary. All good. :)
