Really easy to use, empty bottle of drink, then take the kit and at this point you do have to put a little bit of brute force to push it in, purchase a lamp shade and there you have it a new lamp. I would have preferred the wire to be in white not black, but really pleased with my effort. I will be doing some lamps from bottles as its so easy. Not sure what the white things were for.

This is as simple as pushing the lamp holder into the neck of the bottle and calling it done, after finding a suitable shade.There's no drilling of the bottle required and the lamp holder is a sealed unit with pre-attached cord, switch and plug so if you are in the business of making lamps, there's not much to DIY.This is an E14 (small Edison screw) fitting so lamp selection will be smaller than for the regular E27 size.For the price, there's little to complain about - it lacks the finesse of some other kits I have had but it's about 1/4 the price.

This kit is a really simple way to make a lamp from a bottle. It all seems well made, it easy to use and a good price.Recommended.
