Really Quiets Exhaust
I put a DG muffler on an XT225 but it was horribly loud, not rideable. This insert brought into an acceptable range. I'm glad I chose the quietest insert.

Makes exhaust street worthy
Very happy with this. Cuts edge and decibels of exhaust. Doesn't seem to affect performance. Very good baffle. Muffler was just too crunchy open.I painted mine flat black with high temp paint and looks pretty good.

Good quality and easy to install
Use it for my dg v2 on an 08 Suzuki dr200se sounds pretty good not as good without it in my opinion but definitely quieter noticed a slight power loss on the top end as to be expected when restricting exhaust a little but still a significant improvement over stock

Definitely Quieter
I installed the DG exhaust. I liked it fine. But maybe a bit loud for normal use. I installed a K&N filter element, E3 spark plug. The motorcycle was snappier and the 0-60 improved. I did not install the jet kit yet. I checked gas mileage after the install and 76mpg which was slightly better than before and more power. It was a bit loud so I checked into the Quiet core inserts. It was difficult to figure out by the pictures what to get. The dealer told me this was the quietest one. This is what I got and it has a nice rumble and fairly quiet. If I want to be loud one bolt and I can raise hell with slightly more power without the insert. Hope this helped everybody figure out what you want.

Good for a bit
It was great while it lasted but after about two months of very light use my bike just suddenly became loud on the ride home last week. When I got home I looked and saw that the insert was gone. The little tab that has the hole in it that screws into the silencer was there and still screwed in but the actual insert had broken and just the tab remained. Unless that can be reinforced or made out of something that doesn’t break I would say do not buy this insert.

The mounting tabs break easily.
There is only one screw holding this thing in that vibrates and is made of stainless. It's basically designed to break and fall out on the road or trail. $45 for a new one that will break again? That is lame and makes me want to go back to stock.
